Welcome to Voltville badwolf! Congrats on getting off of tobacco, which all of us know is no mean feat, although SI/Volt make it one heck of a lot easier. Basic requirement for "Chit Chat" is being willing to have fun, so jump in and join the fray!
Hey, Badwof, I am a trained monkey on the computer, as well. I think it is great that you got up the gumption to join a forum. I never did commenting on the internet until about 3 years ago and Hubby just started this year when he found a Arborist website that he loves.

no but seriously, i'm jaye, new to the ecig thing, i was shown/directed this was since i am pretty much going to be a volt devotee, mainly for the customer service, check it out-----
i ordered a starter kit; the basic one with the usb charger, battery, and a carto pack, well i got that, plus an extra carto pack, and the passthrough........ my package came about a week later, but sadly it was missing the extra carto pack, and the battery was a wrong color, and size, i think, so i called up the customer service number, noone answered the first 4 or 5 times, so i started a ticket.
i sent the ticket, then thought i'd try the phone number one last time and i got someone, i told him the situation, and he fixed everything right then and there, didn't have to get a supervisor or anything, so awesome........ when i got off the phone i had forgotten about the ticket until the next day when i had a reply to it (still awesome getting a 1day wait for a reply) and i explained to that person that i had talked to someone on the phone about it and that the ticket should be gotten rid of (even though this person had done the same thing the phone person did i.e. replaced my battery and sent a carto for me) and she thanked me for my honesty and said farewell
so yeah, that customer service incident is my main reason why i will probably be a SI devotee for all my vaping needs

Welcome to Voltville, Jaye! I've had a case or two where I got a shipping notice BEFORE I got an official response to the ticket. SI does have great customer service, hands down. You'll enjoy using the Volt and enjoy the group of Voltatics hanging around here as well.

I ordered a pack of CE3 carts and would like to comment they make the juice (555 and Cherry) have a nasty burned taste. The same juice in a regular cart tastes fine. Not a deal breaker but thought you would like to be aware. I ordered 10 packs of Desert Joe carts and will be enjoying them for a while.

Welcome aboard Lucky You might want to check out the various CE3 threads here, since many others have commented on this and some have suggestions (which I haven't memorized since I chose not to buy any otherwise I'd try to help).

lol anywho, i have fallen in love with the SI's ry4, chocolate, and desert joe flavors, and it makes me curious, does SI have any plans to release more flavors? like maybe have an open contest or something, i'd like to personally see like an ice cream flavor (since i am lactose intolerant) or possibly something like bubblegum or something, well maybe not bubblegum, but you know

The CE3s have primer on them. I just got a box in and forget on the first one, won't happen again!
I did a rinse out and the second one was ok from the start.Just wanted to say hi. I am brand new to vaping. I lucked out researching and ended up on this forum in the SI section. Lot's of great information here for a newbie. As a long time smoker, I am interested in getting rid of the tobacco part of the habit. For my first e-cig, I ordered my starter kit last week from SI. A small starter pack and a 78 bat for my wife, and a 650 and a 900 X2 for me. Also ordered two sample packs of cartos. I am really glad that I waited to try the Volt for my first vaping experience. I am very pleased with the product. My order came in last week and everything was correct except a wrong color on one of the X2 bats. I am very surprised at how long these X2 batteries last, I didn't expect that. Actually the 650 is fine for me. I liked the 555 flavor the best and ordered some more today.
I haven't had a tobacco cig since I got the volt. Nice thing is I don't even want one, I enjoy vaping more. I am a little disappointed that my wife isn't jumping on board as fast as me. She is still smoking the tobacco more than the ecig. Anyway, nice to meet you all!
