Great to hear that vaping is working out for you so quickly. Starting out with Volt stuff has helped with that since it is so much better than other junk out there. 555 is my favorite too, so I'll try to save you some.

Welcome to you all. 555 is my favorite SI flavor, too. Country is good if you are in a mood for tobacco taste.
Hi Lucky, J_L_K and bill! Voltville is a great place with lots of great folks!
The CE3s do need to be washed out prior to first use, my opinion only, or the primer in them tastes like @#$%&, especially with fruit or lighter flavors. If you do wash them out, it'll take some extra drags, maybe as many as twenty or more, to get the water out and get any significant vapor out of them. A trick you can use is to shake them like a fever thermometer, battery end in your hand, to force most, not all, of the water off the wicks and down onto the silicon seal. If it's a significant amount of water you may want to remove it by using the syringe to carefully suck it out to avoid diluting your liquid. Then, after they're filled, let them sit for 15 minutes of more to let the wicks start to absorb the liquid. Even then, it may take a few extra drags to get them fired up. Worth the effort, trust me on this. Once you have a flavor in them, there is no need to clean them again.
The X2 is a great battery. I get most of a full day out of one and that's with chain vaping most of the day. A little hard to use "hands free", but other than that they are the bees knees!

Remember that different people quit on the e cigs differently. Keep an encouraging attitude and if your wife says she smoked two less smokes today, tell her she just added 20 healthy minutes to her life and you love it since she will be around that much longer.
If she vapes and smokes 10 less cigs in a day, tell her she is doing sooo good.
Smoking less is moving towards quitting and some people, like me, can't just give it all up at once.
Maybe try to include her in a e juice selection, you know, I hear the menthol Ice and the Country tobacco are both good, which one would you like to try? Buy different samplers from Mom and Pop Vapors [I love Flamingo] or Rawr [I love the Poison Tobacco flavor] or any other vendors and see what she likes. Maybe get the fruity sampler pack from SI with the watermelon and cherry in it. If she finds something she loves, it will help her cut back even more on cigs.
Make sure you help her with refills if she doesn't like doing that sort of thing. Just a few thoughts for you to help be an encouragement for the wife.

When I got my Mom to try these (which was big as she is 75) the 18's were too strong, hard for her to inhale, so we ordered 12mg cartos of the menthol burst and cappuccino, which she loves.
Also, I never bug people I got to switch. I just check to make sure everything is working and they are still enjoying them. My Mom, and friend who got SI vaping stuff still smoke the stinkies, which is fine. I know if I push them, they will push back. I would too if I was them.
I realized, I was READY for something different. Before I found out about these, I had been commenting about how sick I was of smoking and yet didn't want to quit yet. So when these crossed my radar, I jumped in with both feet. People I am getting to try these may not be at the same point in their life.

On our starter set up, I got 18mg but this was too strong for her when she tried it. She said it gave her headaches. The "fruity" sampler pack is 12mg, so she is using that now. After 16 years of marriage, I know know I can't push her, only encourage and hope for the best LOL.
I am going to get a 6mg and let her try that on our next order.

hey bill your from my neck of the woods... I do 12mg if your wife wants to try a lower mg without putting out some money I'm sure I can spare a ml or 2 just send me a holler
Thank you so much! I just ordered some of those nano's clear-o-mizer thingies last night and I added on some 12mg watermelon juice and a 555 carto pack at 12mg. I am hoping she likes them! She tried my 555 and seemed to like the flavor.
It's all about figuring out what flavors yourself and your wife like. For me that's the fun part.
Just wanted to stop in and say hello. Ordered my volt 78mm premium kit and CE3s about 2 weeks ago. placed an order for a couple X2's and some nano's (yes got them before they sold out!) this week.

Ordered my first Volt starter kit yesterday. Am NOT new to vaping but still have not found a setup I like, and am still on the fence with tobacco tasting juices. I guess I am trying to find a taste like a real cigg and not sure why cuz they are nasty. So far favorite has been BACKO, but would like to try the 555 maybe if it tastes good. Only other that I have found to be interesting is buttercream.....but still craving tobacco. don't want hickory, clove or anything added.....just tobacco taste.
Hoping that the volt will feel better than the ---go that I have......just feels like a monster in my hand. And dialing in a voltage I feel dumb......ha....can't find what others are raving about.
