Sitting down, facing forward.
Welcome to Voltville, Samurai671. I think SI liquids are 70/30 if I remember correctly. As far as 18mg versus 24mg, that will be for you to determine. I was at 3/4 pack a day of M Lights and started with 18mg. It seemed OK, but I've switched down to 12mg, just to see if it worked, and it did. Either level is fine, I think but I'm no expert or doctor. I think you'll be surprised at the output of the Volt, especially with a CE3 on a 78mm or a clearo on an X2. SI seems to have hit that so called "sweet spot" with the voltage and resistance of their stuff.

I just noticed you're in Guam. I spent two weeks there back in th 80's working on a contract and it's a beautiful place. If I could afford it, I'd go back anytime if I could get back to the beaches on the base on the north end, just like "Blue Lagoon".

Hi welcome  most of the liquids are 90/10 pg/vg

If 18 is working for you then no need for 24... but if you feel you need a little extra 24 might be the trick

Thanks Imagine!! I know I'm the one who asked, but just as long as the vape is good I don't care for the ratio but was just curious.
Well, after I registered to the Smokeless Image site I've been looking, and man you guys have a great selection of accessories!! My wallet's gonna hurt...:D

Hey awsum, thanks for the welcome.:)
I have been vaping 18mg as I stated earlier, but I still have the urge to smoke an analog. Despite hating it, I need at least one a day :(, which made me think that maybe I need more nic, maybe I should try 24mg. Anyways, I saved my cart on the SI page with the pro starter kit with the 65mm auto and 24mg smooth sampler. I do like manual batteries, but I want change from my other PV's which are all manual, so I'm going with the highly recommended sealed auto batts. From all the reviews of SteelJan, PBusardo, and GrimmGreen, I think it is the one I've been looking for.

Yep, the beaches here are awesome!! Especially like you said, the north side where Anderson Air Force Base is :thumb:. Well if you ever do come back let me know.

I would suggest the 78mm batteries since they have about 50% more capacity than the 65mm. I use autos exclusively and haven't had a problem with them yet, OK less than three months worth, but I'm a chronic chain vaper.
Yeah, was thinking to get the 78mm, but wanna try out the 65mm since it closely resembles an actual cig. But, my next order after that will have the 78mm auto's along with one of the 30ml juices from the smooth sampler after I figure out which one I like best.
By the way, which PCC do you recommend, the Mega V2 or the slider. I'm leaning more towards the Mega, but still not sure. Well, at least I have a week to decide before I click the check out button.

Hi and welcome, Samurai671. It'll be interesting to listen about your Volt impressions after all those big battery mods u currently use.

Thanks betaalex.
I'm one of the guys who started off with the ego type batteries and loved them as they made me almost completely quit analogs. But there was something about the ego types that just wouldn't cut it. Then I figured (after 8 months LOL!) it's probably the size!! So I went searching for cig sized ecigs, but noticed they were too weak for an ex heavy smoker like me. Then I stumbled upon 2 sites, Smokeless Image and Bloog. After about a month of research, I decided to go with SI. Although I haven't ordered yet I'm really excited.

Will definitely post my impressions when I get em!!

Welcome, Samurai. I've been using Volt hardware exclusively for several months now. I started with Blu, tried the KGO and finally settled on Volt. I think you're gonna like it. :)
Funny thing is, in the very beginning, I wanted to order the Blu. Lo and behold they were out of stock, almost like a guardian angel telling me not to get Blu!! Then I stumbled upon Volcano and the rest is history. But if it wasn't for that, I would've never found ECF, and most importantly, would've never known about Smokeless Image. So I guess I should thank Blu...just a little bit...for being out of stock. LOL!!

Hi Samarai! I love my Volt and would like to suggest that the 78mm batteries still feel and look like a real cigarette to me. Of course, I smoked 100's anyway. I like that they seem like a real cigarette and don't attract attention. Of course, with all the lovely products to buy and try, I have ended up with the larger batteries for use at home or on those long stretches of road we have out here in the Western USA. Love those, too, but find myself tucking the ciggie sized volt into my pockets and usnig them around the yard or for when I am in town.

Welcome onto the Voltville train:)

Hi y'all!
Wanted to drop in and ask if ya have room in "Voltville" for one more?! :p
Been vaping for a little over 2 mths and cig free for 11 days now. :D I've been so busy reading and learning around ECF that I've not had a chance to stop in. This IS the friendliest forum here and hope to become part of your family! Oh, and I'm the Proud owner of a purple X2 900 auto and clearomizer for 1 week now! This thing 'rocks'! And according to the latest I've read, more SI equipment is in my immediate future. I just hope my credit card doesn't 'melt'! ;)
Well gonna jump outta here and hope to type at y'all again soon. Keep Vapin' :vapor:

Hi and welcome Samurai & Duster.
Samurai 24mg will most likely help in getting you a bit more nic. Usually when your thinkin about going a bit higher , you tend to be right. 24 helped me for a good year before i went down to 18. Im not sure if it was mentioned but the ratio is closer to 90/10 . Dont know how they do it cos the vapor of SI's liquid with SI carto's are craazzeee!
Congrats on trying out the Volt, it will blow you away then you will look at you other pv's and say WTF... Literally. Its an awesome pv that packs a punch.
I like 65mm too but keep plenty of 78's around.
Anyway welcome to both and do come over to the chit chat thread when you can !!

Hey Voltville!

Newbie here, been vaping for 3 1/2 days now and am loving every minute of it. Vaping definitely lends to my style of smoking a lot better. I like to puff puff.. and come back later and puff more so it is a better fit. The Volt X2 is my new baby and it is awesome. I just bought one of the blue batteries and got the purple clearomizer cause of limited choices till new T3s come out. I did a lot of research and it was hard to chose between X2 and Ego.. though may get the Twist later to try out variable voltage. Thanks to smokeless image for making some great, easy to use products for those of us just starting out.
