welcome :)
Ordered my first Volt starter kit yesterday. Am NOT new to vaping but still have not found a setup I like, and am still on the fence with tobacco tasting juices. I guess I am trying to find a taste like a real cigg and not sure why cuz they are nasty. So far favorite has been BACKO, but would like to try the 555 maybe if it tastes good. Only other that I have found to be interesting is buttercream.....but still craving tobacco. don't want hickory, clove or anything added.....just tobacco taste.
Hoping that the volt will feel better than the ---go that I have......just feels like a monster in my hand. And dialing in a voltage I feel dumb......ha....can't find what others are raving about.

JUST want simple and GOOD
thanks for listening to my rambling.

Welcome to Voltville, Joie! I think you'll be happy with your new Volt, I know I am, even after three plus months. Finding a flavor is always a problem and taste is very individual. I found SI RY4 to be quite good and I, like you, seem to prefer plain tobacco flavors. It does have a hint of sweetness, caramel and vanilla, but is very subtle an mello which makes it very pleasant, at least to me.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it, your results and mileage may vary, no warrantee or guarantee is expressed or implied.

If you find one please share. I have tried a bunch (of course the reviews all say this is it). None of them were. I was a menthol smoker. The closest I find is just menthol. 555 is good too. I make some that is ry4,555 and vanilla (flavorings). It taste nothing like my smokes did but it doesn't have all that candy sugary stuff in it that many places put it. It has a dry hit like a smoke.

Hi all,

I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little about me. I’m a new member of this forum and new to social media in general. I’ve been lurking on this sub-forum since it started and I followed the “OFFICIAL - SMOKELESSIMAGE.com Thread” before that. I guess I wanted to be able to put in my two cents worth. I don’t know if you would call me a Voltie. I really like S.I. and their products in general, but I’m not very vendor loyal. I buy and use what works best for me.

Right now I have Volt X2 batteries, cartos, X2 clearos, CE3s, and a Nano, but I also have two Ego batteries, a pack of CE3 XLs, a 3ml CE3, and a T2. I got the 510 threaded CE3s and one of the Ego batteries free, so I might as well use them. Let’s face it, using an Ego battery with a CE3 is not very different from an X2 battery with a CE3, except for the threads.

I started vaping in January and quit smoking in February (February 11, 2012 at 7:15 AM to be exact) after about thirty-five years of 1 and 1/2 PAD. I haven’t had a cigarette since. Wow, I can smell and taste things now, and I don’t get out of breath just climbing a flight of stairs! As long as e-cigs are available, I hope I’ll never smoke again.

I look forward to getting to know some of you, maybe I’ll have something useful to say every once in a while.

JR wonderful to hear that you are smoke free!!!!! Hope you can help some of us non techy, non mechanical numbskulls [that would be me:)]

I'm really not a techy, but I do have pretty good mechanical apptitude and low tolerance for products that don't work well. I like to think of e-cigs as a replacement for analogs not as a hobby. I want to just fill them and vape. Right now the CE3s seem to fit that bill for me. I don't really like filling them with a syringe, but they work good. When they quit working good I throw them out. They do last a long time and cost less than I used to pay for one pack of cigarettes. I'll probably keep using them until I find something that works as well, is easier to fill, and holds more liquid. The search goes on!

Thanks to all for the welcomes and congrats.

Thanks a lot Kia. It seems like a really long time since I quit. I can't imagine ever smoking again. At work I go out to the smoking area to vape several times a day. I'm friends with most of the people that go out there, and that's where I feel comfortable. I actually like the smell, but I have absolutely no desire to smoke a cigarette myself. I do get the feeling I won't be going out much this winter.

Thanks again for the welcome

Well I jumped in and ordered my starter kit today. I'm still new to all this
and currently have Inferno and KGO batts along with a clearo and a Vivi Nova
Mega, etc., but I need something to take to work that doesn't look like I'm
using some kind of elicit drug device!:p

I can use my bigger batts and tanks at home, but being out in public all
day looking like a scene from Blade Runner ain't gonna cut it.

Welcome Old Curmudgeon from another old curmudgeon! I think you'll find that the Volt gives you much stronger performance that you may suspect. I use mainly 78mm batteries all day, every day, just because they are so much more convenient. While they need charging more often than larger ones, like the X2 series, they do hold up for quite a while. Enjoy vaping with them!
