What do you say to people when they tease you?

I got my first e cig a few days ago and am trying to get off the analogs. Today my nephew was poking fun at me for using my pv. I just kind of ignored it. Personally I love vaping and am not going to stop but how do you deal with questions and critics?

Nobody teases me. Mostly they just ask where to get one.

If it's my buds doing the teasing and I know they can take it I just tell them "It's better than what you suck on." (not talking cigs here. Figure it out.)

I'm vaping and you're ugly. I can stop vaping. What can you do?

Keep smoking. You look like you smell.

I heard smoking cuts off the oxygen to your brain. Never believed it till I met you.

Can't remember where I heard it, but someone said smoking causes impotency. Oh yeah, your wife told me.

I just say something similar to when I'd get snarky comments about smoking: second-hand vapor causes second-hand coolness. Or tell them I just switched to an e-cig from farting, how do you like me now?

Never been teased. Typically people are very fascinated and sometimes even ask where they can get one. People can just tell when you love something cause they want it too!

I have actually had people show interest in what I am doing vs. giving me a hard time about it. I think that I may have even converted a couple of people.

I don't worry about it, because it is way more healthy than what I was puffin on! most everyone is interested in what i am doing really, so I tell them what I know and point them in the right direction, hoping it makes they're lives a little better!

Noone has really 'made fun of me'....they look at it and ask questions as to how it works, how have I done and are surprised at my success! I have only had one person make the remark of 'you haven't quit at all!'....and I then let them know that I have, I am not using a combustible, not getting 4,000 chemicals into my body hourly, not spending 8.06x2 per day...and asked her how she liked my perfume, (I was just coming back in from break) and she could smell my perfume and remarked that she had no idea and then asked about it for her smoker friends....it is all about educating the uneducated!
