So sorry about the loss of your aunt Jimmy. :(

Watched my aunt loose her battle with lung cancer a little more than a year ago and with some much.needed nagging from the gf I finally decided smoking wasn't worth it and vaping seemed like a way that I could have my cake and eat it too. Never plan on smoking cigarettes again

I started vaping about a year ago (started with blu diposables, then the kit, then an ego, then i got into other stuff -- lavatube/lambo, etc -- finally about 2 months ago i got a provari mini)

i never smoked analogs, except socially (while drinking, etc) -- i was big on cigars, but thye make my mouth taste like crap for days -- i was a heavy hookah smoker previously (like, every day) and didn't want to fuss with setting up, tearing down and cleaning every day.

i started vaping because i love the taste when i first time tried it. i dont mind spending much on the pvs cause they all look awesome. besides, i have been thinking a lot on how to quit smoking. i've used the nic patch but they are not working. last time i used some pill called champfix. it does work but i forced myself to smoke because it has already become a habit. and vaping is the ultimate solution. since today, i am free from analog smoking for 5 month already & it feels great, proud & healthy!

I had the worst bronchitis ever in last February, and during about two weeks, I've been unable to sleep, because I could only stay sat in my bed, every time I tried to lay down I couldn't stop coughing. So I brutally quit smoking, and after a couple of days even if I coughed less, I was feeling very nervous, anxious and I got easily angry towards anybody. Some friend told me I should try vaping ad it's now 8 months I quit smoking (I completely quit smoking one week only after I started vaping)

I quit smoke analogs when my grandson was born.I knew he would be spending alot of time at my home with me and my wife.In fact we now have custody of him and he live with us full time.I didn't want to smoke around him or worry about going outside to smoke.Other factors include my health and save the money that I spent on analogs. My wife has cut her analog use down by about half by vaping. She vapes at home and smoke analogs away from the house.Hopefully she will quit analogs 100% soon.

I started vaping to get off of analogs. It has been the only thing I have ever tried that worked for me. After 42 years of smoking I am so happy that I was introduced to vaping and guided to some of the best methods and juices. I was able to save time and money and start with a mod that really worked.

It replaced the hand to mouth habit the warm sensation on inhale and of course still delivers nicotine.

I made many major life style changes in order to get healthy and back into shape so naturally giving up analogs was high on the list. I did give some time to the adjustments and when they were more natural I made the biggest and hardest step. NO regrets.

I due owe a huge thank you to a very dear and special friend and she knows who she is, I wont mention any names so as not to embarrass her, and yes I have thanked her many times!

I started because I just didn't want to smoke anymore and it looked interesting. I was tired of the terrible taste, and could not justify the negative effects it was having on my health with the limited enjoyment the habit provided. I tried someone's ecig while I was at a bar, and I after many failed attempts finally got my own first setup going. Not long after becoming a vaping convert that preferred my new habit to smoking, I became a hobbyist. Now I am a full on fanatic. One of these days I'll need to scale back. Maybe when I'm dead. Of non-cigarette related causes.

I'm not going to lie, my reason is not nearly as epic as having kids or being around longer for a wife. I was simply fascinated by the concept. Call me a nerd but aside from my love affair as a child with everything tobacco I also was greatly intrigued by the image of exhaling smoke from your mouth. It seemed mystical like almost sci-fi Esq. Which was a reason I started smoking as a teenager. I thought it was absolutely fantastic. I however like most smokers knew I'd eventually quit. And as years went on before I kept saying,a few more months, a few more weeks, and eventually reached one of those stages where quitting wasn't a daily thought in my head. Three years ago I saw the term "electronic cigarette" on a forum or something and I remember thinking "what the heck is that?". After very poor research and being a sucker for a pretty website and a pretty box(IPhone users can relate lol)I bought the absolutely horrible PROSMOKE. It was out of pure fascination of the invention. And it interested me to "smoke" inside. Needless to say I ended up losing the device piece by piece sort of on purpose to avoid telling myself I wasted my money on garbage.

Fast forward to 88 days ago and my sister came to visit and showed me a disposable she bought. The logic platinum menthol. I tried it and thought it was great. And once again due to fascination and not the intent to quit I had one camel left and went to the store and bought a disposable instead of another pack. I liked it a lot. So much that I quit after that last analog I had left the same night. I quit smoking and started vaping by accident. It is the best accident that has ever happened to me.

Happy vaping.

As its been stated, I started vaping as an alternative to smoking analogs. I'd been smoking for 13-14yrs up until around last Oct. Never touched an analog cig since and I dont plan on too. I eventually want to get off the nicotine all together, but I might just start mixing juices with 0mg/nic. But, as of now, vaping for me seems to be an obsession rather an addiction. And yes, I love not smelling bad around my son...and I feel pretty good now.
