So Cal
please give me a list of good authentics out there in the 30$ range other than the mutation x.

How about the Cigreen Holmes ($29.99), or the Youde IGo ($29.99), or the CLT rda ($29.99) by Infinite, or how about the Storm RDA ($24.99), or doge by congrevape ($29.99), I can keep going if none of those would suit you... or be as good a performer as any clone!

SO AGAIN>>> DIRECT Q: Why buy a $30 clone of a $150 atty when there are a plethora of good authentics out there that are in the $30 range?

I havent been arrested for anything I have bought that is a 'clone'. They manufacturer either haven't made any trademarks/patents on their products or it is way to easy to break the law and order stuff from overseas (all my clones have no logos or trademarks on them). If you can give me any kind of proof/document that proves any of the products I list in my signature were against the law when i bought them then I will personally trash them, take photos, and order authentics. IE: they werent trademarked/patented designs, or i illegaly procured these items through USPS.

Mod: Beyondvape Solara DNA30 | Vaporshark rDNA40
RDA: Cigreen X | Cigreen N23 | Dark Horse | Stillare | S.O.D 5K

my mods are authentic, all those RDA listed are clones. SOD 5k clone. stillare clone, cigreen X, cigreen N23 was bought off originvape, Dark horse was bought off eciggity. I have nothing against giving my $$ to people that have patents on their design, so if you can prove it was against the law I will trash em and buy authentics. The one thing I agree with is that there is something wrong with the system where I can buy this dirt cheap, but it is not my fault. If you can prove that I am in the wrong and breaking any laws by doing this then I will go and do the right thing, as of yet all I see is opinions. I am doing what I do to benefit myself just as almost everyone in the history of mankind has ever done.

Alice, while I personally think it's silly to list your goodies in your sig, that has nothing to do with the price of clones from China.
I'd say enjoy your vaping supplies and don't worry about getting popped for using generics.
The people breaking the law and being unethical are the clone manufacturers and the retailers selling them as genuine items.

Some of us are purists and even snobby about the tools we use to vape.
Again I say, Don't worry about it.
None of these folks, including some good buds of mine, bought your goodies for you
If clones are all you can afford and they work well, that's really all that matters.

Happy Vaping!

i have authentics. an d none of then justify their overpricing. i have the authentic cigreens and mutation X. yet there are non 'cloud chasing attys' that i want to try. Youde RDA's are poor quality IMO, I HAVE ordered UD RDA's and they were bad, and i have no need for a DOGE, because the mutation X fills that gap, anbd yes, i purchased an authentic Mutation X. The clones I purchase are those that i consider overpriced for authentics, such as the dark horse.

Also, what is the reason of being silly to list my goodies in my sig? I am not bragging about them, I am just listing my knowledge of products that I use regularly, i enjoy them all and they are a regular rotation in my vaping. it all comes down to why do YOU care what other people do? It ISNT illegal. I can honestly state why I care, because people like YOU are coming out here trying to make people like me feel inferior. I honestly dont think I am inferior to you, TBH, I am saving money regardless if im poor or rich, I am spending my money better. If YOU think you are spending your money better than grats to you. If you think I am hurting you personally in any way then im sorry, but I'll continue to do it as long as its legal because I'm saving money, im able to spend that saved money on other things that make me happier in my life. If spending money on authentics is ethically right and makes you happy then props to you. I'll still be here buying clones, having a satisfying vape, making myself happy and not doing anythign that is illegal. I am not going to change my views on certain things just to make you happy, i couldnt give two s$#ts about you because I dont know you, my life is ME, and if what I'm doing makes ME happy ill keep doing it. Saving money on RDA's that I think are overpriced and that I think perform the same as the originals makes me happy. If you can come up with anyway that justifies spending 75$+ more on an authentic that hasnt been patented over a clone then good for you, because I honestly can't.

Perhaps plethora wasn't correct but, there are plenty of good $30 attys out there!

.... And, you still didn't directly answer: Why buy a $30 clone of a $150 atty when there are plenty of good authentics out there that are in the $30 range?

because its cheaper? lol. If im looking for an atty in the 30$ it has to be comparable to that of the 150$ range. All those you have listed dont have a ~150$ authentic of it. Sure they are authentics, but they are still complete crap. Just because its an authentic that 'works' in the 30$ range doesnt make it a better alternative to clones that work better. Those authentics you listed are either niche (which I already own authentic of) or poorly designed RDA's. Like i siad before, prove to me im breaking the law then i will trash all my clones and buy authentics, all i see is arguements over opinions that me buying clones is 'wrong', yet i see no evidence of the original manufacturer putting effort into patents or trademarks on their product. I own clones that ALL have no logos on them. If you feel it wrong that I have these products then either complain to the manufacturer for not putting effort into trademarking/patenting their designs, or complain to the government. I am breaking NO rules by purchasing these products, if I am then please, please provide me proof that I am and i will gladly trash all my clones in favor for authentics. Youre beliefs and stance on certain 'beliefs' mean nothing to me because I have my own beliefs and stances on things that work for me. If you really are that determined for me to buy authentics then send me money and I will happily spend your money to buy myself authentics. In the meantime I will be buying clones all day everyday. If you dont like it then give me you're hard earned money so i can buy authentics. Otheriwise I will spend my money on what I want to whether it makes you happy or not because I honestly dont care about you.

$30 authentic vs $30 clone is huge difference. 1st design will be different. I got a stingray xti and black authentic and at same time I bought infinite clone stingray x and x black just to see if there was anything different. 1 the serial number font was different and also on clone button was little bit clicky. But after 1 weeks of use on clone button became more smoother than before . Performance was almost same or I can't tell deference between them. 90% of my mods and rda/rta is authentic but when I seen how JD Tech treat me I didn't feel bad buying a clone. I told them that the 510 connection on the Stingray x black was too tight they ask me serial number and where I got it. Told them the serial and that I got it from ebay they told me that they can't give me warranty and top cap will be $40 plus no tracking will be provided. So I told them to shove it up there ..... and got me a tapping tool and rethread my self works fine. And now I see how they treat there costumer even if it was $230 mod. So let me ask you if it was $20-50 products and if there was a minor defective parts I can understand because it's was cheap. But buying something high price and being treated like it was cheap stuff I wouldn't spend a dime on it. Also some people will buy authentic because they can and some will buy clone. Not to mention some authentic are hard to find. It's almost like ur asking if it was 1:1 clone would you buy a Ferrari for a $20k or a buy authentic civic for same price

I like this question because it renders the money answer invalid.

Not necessarily. What if the person doesn't like the design of the $30 authentic? And I'm not talking about the aesthetics I'm referring to the inner workings of the atty. Just because there are cheaper authentics doesn't mean someone has to buy them simply because they are authentic. To me, the fact that a number of reasonably priced authentics have been released which perform as well as some of the higher priced ones further proves how ridiculous the pricing for authentics has been.

Mutation X V3 isn't complete crap!

Neither is $30 Freakshow

Nor is the Cigreen crap!

Do you seriously get a better vape off a $30 imitation of a $150 atty vs. either of these other $30 authentic attys?

Price for goods is set at the highest level the market will bear. If $150 were too high, the company selling them would find themselves without customers and go out of business.

Obviously this is my opinion. Until I can afford to spend $150 on one, I wont, and probably wouldn't even if I could afford it.

DISCLAIMER: IMO

No, pricing is set at a point where the seller thinks he will optimize his total profit, knowing full well that the market will be bigger at a lower price and and smaller at a higher price. Unfortunately, predicting just how big the market will be at a given price is actually quite difficult. Then there's also the question of production capacity. There's no point in setting the price so low that demand outstrips your ability to supply the item.

Plus many companies will set their retail price much higher than the actual value because they know that doing so will make the consumer believe it is a high quality, uniquely designed, thoroughly researched, high performance product. And smile all the way to the bank.

Setting a Price Point Isn't always as Simple as just going with the Highest Price the Market will bear.

If I have a New APV and set the Price at 29.95$ Retail and think I will sell 100,000 Units verses setting the Price at 74.95$ Retail and only sell 40,000 Units, which one will I generate More Profit for me?

But here is a Big Question. Which is More Likely to be Cloned/Counterfeited?

The one being Marketed at 29.95$ or the one at 74.95$?

Excellent point, although inexpensive products do get cloned. There isn't as much vanity/exclusivity related to a $30 product as there is with a $100 product.

Load of crap. Just because you can't afford something doesn't mean it's priced too high or that the seller is making an inordinate amount of money. It just means that your job has been so devalued by bad trade policy that you can now only afford products from distorted markets.
