Wicks for Iatty

The wick that came with the Iatty is great (good thing as I have half a spool). But I put a different wick in my Iatty this morning and it is even better. I would recommend Nextel Braided Ceramic Very High Temperature Sleeving it is ceramic and I am loving it. I will say I have only been using it for about 2 hours, so I will report back in a couple of days.

It looks a very nice and promising product Jon. Its ceramic, it can handle big temperatures, it doesnt contain chemicals as site says. If it vapes good then its one of the wicks that maybe we will need for sure!

Is there a way to ask them more details? Also can you tell them the purpose we need it? Maybe they can help us more on this

It is not cheap though @ $1.50/foot. Other than that, it looks awesome.

Now this is interesting Jonah, exactly which one are you using? Do you have to unbraid it? I like the idea of ceramic. I would like to give this idea a try, now which one do I order?

The XC-116 and you don't need to mess with it, it is just the right size. I will post more info on it after further testing. So far it is great, but I have only vaped a little over 5ml so far.

Has anybody thought to take the newer type filler that is in the dual coil Cartos, or any other filler type material and twist up a length of it and wrap the wire around this material for your wick ? I think this may work rather well, I haven't tried it as of yet but if anyone gets a chance please post on it when you can if you try this.

If I am not mistaken the main filler does not actually come into contact with the coil in the dualies, there is a sleeve that separates them and that makes me think that it might not be suitable or why would they have that sleeve? Did I make any sense? LEt me know if that is what you are talking about.

Testing is such a trial, I am almost to 10 ml must keep vaping. It is for my fellow man after all...

I think after switching to a lower Nic I have vaped 3 more tanks. I would say it is about perfect for this.
