I placed an order with Wl about 3 weeks ago and, like everyone has said, they were second to none with little goodies in the package with my base nic.

Well, almost everyone on the thread... what did the nic look/smell/taste like? Where else have you purchased nic that you might compare it to?

I have ordered from "one stop diy shop." Personally the quality of both are the same in my opinion. the nic for wl had no smell or taste and such, whereas the other I had a slight oxidation on their 100mg/ml. The only qualm I have with wl is that it came in a plastic container, but the fact that it came with a "bubble" on top was a nice touch. i have to say one thing with "diy shop," when i did have an error on the order, by no fault of theirs, they not only sent me another bottle overnight, they also sent me a delicious blueberry cheesecake free of charge.

Thanks for the details rusalka! I'm going to try a small bottle (hoping this Thursday). Even if I end up unsatisfied with their nic (though I'm guessing I won't) you can't beat the flavoring prices.

i recently placed an order for nic among lots of flavors after reading all the great reviews and even better prices. everything was great... except for the nic itself... as far as i have read i have not found anything mentioning of what i received. i got a 120ml bottle of 48mg. to start off it had a very strong smell... kind of like rubber and somewhat alcohol-like. this smell definitely transfered over to taste as well. i have no idea where it comes from. it could have been placed in a bad bottle or something. but i cant taste anything else other than that. i let a few friends try as well to make sure it wasn't just me. i tried making a few bottles while increasing flavoring and still very present.
has anyone else had something like this from WL?

I have tasted the taste you describe in other nic (have not tried WL) before where others have not tasted it. Maybe you are just as sensitive as I am to the under taste in some of the nic that is available from some vendors. It may have something to do with the extraction process from tobacco, I am not sure. Good luck to you.

ETA- Oops, nevermind. You did say that you had others try it so probably not the case here.

it is possible that i may still be sensitive to the nic. i talked to john earlier today and honestly, i only have a positive opinion about WL. i will be getting a replacement soon as well as trying out another nic from WL.

did you see the link? I think it will take you to a product named, '100mg Nicotine solution - 120ml'. I got a bottle labeled 100mg/ml. I wasn't sure if... It was a mislabeled product or something else, I couldn't imagine them putting 120ml in a bottle labeled for 100ml, but wanted to check here first.

Edit: just took off the bubble wrap and there is a little check box with 120 marked...ok, so its all good..

this is what i ordered, i got a bottle labeled '100mg/ml'... Anyone else have this issue or...any thoughts on it

edit: This is my first diy, i was thinking i should have received a bottle '100/120 mg/ml', correct?

time to do some learning. Quick, before you open that bottle.

Do not start mixing until you can answer your own question. You got what you ordered.

nicotine solutions are mixed down from pure nicotine to, in your case, 10%. This is 100mg of nic in each and every one of those 120ml. That 100mg/ml, and 120ml of it in the bottle.

12000 mg of nicotine.

That is a common chemical labeling and it mean 100mg's per ml. It has nothing to do with the size of the bottle.

that part of your math is fine. using proper units can help. the strength, before thinning and flavor will be 18.5 mg/ml. you will end up with 12000 mg of nicotine in a 650ml solution. sounds like you just got surprised by nomenclature and labeling.

Good luck, enjoy.

Hi LookMa,

No need to be sorry.
That's what we're all here for.
This forum is all about answering questions, education, and looking out for the safety of each other.

I'm John from Wizard Labs.
If you or anyone else ever has any questions about your order, proper usage, mixing, or safety and handling, please contact me directly either via our contact form, email, or phone number listed on the website and packing slip.

I always take the time to answer questions and help advise new DIYers on getting started.
When working with a potentially dangerous chemical like nicotine there's no such thing as asking too many questions, or being too prepared before you begin.
Every order containing nicotine solutions gets a Nicotine Safety and Handling sheet included with the packing slip which also has our full contact information.
Please take a moment to read through it and familiarize yourself with the appropriate warnings and first aid procedures before opening the bottle.
Waiting until after an accident happens is the wrong time to try and learn what you should do, and accidents WILL happen to all of us.
Preparation and planning are key.

For first time DIY I don't recommend starting with higher strength nicotine solutions.
60mg/ml and higher strengths can wait until after you've gotten comfortable mixing with lower strength solutions.
If you would like to make an exchange just let me know.

Yes, as Rocket already answered, your math is correct, but there's more to safe and successful DIY than just doing the math.
There are several excellent DIY tutorials both here and on the web that will give you the basics, and may answer a few questions you haven't even thought of asking yet.
In addition to the regular concerns for your own safety, if you live in a household with others, especially children and pets, then extra precautions need to be taken into consideration as well such as contaminated work surfaces, containers, and mixing tools.
While the chance of an adult fatality is relatively small using 100mg/ml strength nicotine when proper safety procedures and first aid are followed, that risk can be very high if a child or pet is involved in an accident.
Working and mixing over a catch basin such as a plastic storage box or even a cake pan is one small and simple step that can help reduce that risk.

I just want to say that I'm glad to see that you've done some homework, are familiar with the math, and have the appropriate personal protection, but if you have any other questions or concerns don't be afraid or hesitate to ask.
If you call our phone number during the day, 9 times out of 10 I'll be the one to answer.

Thanks AZ and Rocket.

Hi and thanks John. I originally was going to get a lower strength, as I do have a lot of respect for all chemicals in general. After looking at everything I had and planing out what I was going to make/mix, the majority of the safety equipment on hand, a nice wide mouth bottle, and a lot of respect for this stuff, I decided to get the 100mg/ml. Probably not the best decision. All the 100mg/ml is mixed, with not a drip dropped and everything cleaned up. I appreciate your response, offer, product, freebie(marry jane,.. lol) ect. it really says a lot. Thanks.

Received my first order from WL. 100mg nic and vg. Packaging as reported is fantastic. Nic is slightly yellow and to be expected at this concentration. I took a sniff (careful if your not used to working with 100mg/ml) and detected no off odor. Rebottled and froze the bulk ( well labeled w/ ex date of course). Mixed up a 30 day supply @ 25mg/ml. Color is the palest yellow.

As soon as my gennie tank is dry enough, I'm gonna test it unflavored. Will report back.

I have to thank my former nic supplier for finding out about WL. His ranting and name dropping brought me here and I believe I'm gonna be very happy. :)
