Same cap, just for a different rda. Heard on a VT video they could not drill glass without sacrificing it’s integrity so they cut slits for the air flow

This is really cool! How are you liking it after spending more time with the cap? Does it lock into place? What is that horizontal white bit you have sitting across the post?

Trinity glass caps are just held on by the o-rings on the atty base. It was not very secure on the only Trinity Comp Cap I ever bought that was for a dotmod V2. I didn't like it much when tried out, so it was never used again.

Unity has arrived. Slight leaking issue after filling and screwing on the top cap – obviously there is a pressure build up in the tank doing so. But outside of that, no leaking during use. Chain vaped through a full tank and no dry burns, so she’s a wicking well (sans the leaks upon filling). Flavour is very good, on par with the Profile RDA. But have yet to try the 5ml extension. Air flow is nice and smooth but a tad more restricted over the Profile RDA

I have limited exposure to RTA’s, much prefer RDA’s. But my initial short term impression of the Profile Unity RTA is very positive.

@madstabber I think the problems I'm having is that the mesh is too fine. TC seems to be working fine now with some adjustments in TCR mode. I notice that the juice doesn't flow out of the mesh like the larger mesh from wotofo when squonking. I will pick up some SS 150 mesh and try that out. For now I am back to using the wotofo mesh.

I just bought some vandy vape 300 mesh....i hope it does the job ok. I have heard that the 200 guage is the one to go for ??? :)

For over 19 months now my main interest in the "latest/greatest" new flavor RDA's has been three specific squonk ready mesh RDA's. Squonk ready simply because squonking very rapidly became my preferred gear over all other gear in August 2014. In turn these mesh atomizers also rapidly became preferred gear starting in August 2017. The Mesh RDA's had that something extra that I guess I had been looking for since I first started vaping. Enter 3 Vandy Vape Mesh, 6 Digiflavor Mesh Pro's plus 3 'Styled' (IOW clones), and 9 Wotofo Profile Mesh.

The DMP's had ruled the roost around here for well over a year, mostly on 21700 regulated squonk gear. But the nine Wotofo Profiles have moved into the number one spot, especially those on 5 mech Reo P67's and one on a mech DripTech-DS. With the Wotofo KA1 Mesh strips they are hitting at 98W on these mech's with fully charged batteries (76W at 3.7VDC). With some recipe tweaking to match my DIY's specifically to them they have became my first choice as flavor atty's. The other 3 Profiles get it done on 21700 regulated squonk mods as well, but since I started vaping six years ago with mechs I still prefer them over the regulated squonk/TC gear.

I probably ought to make a new picture of all of the Profiles together (and all of the Mesh RDA's together as well), but these old ones will have to do for now.

I'm digging it :) I've always had a preference for clear caps on my squonkers so when I found glass caps it was a no brained for me.

No, it dont lock into place, the cap will spin around, you have to position the air slot yourself.

That horizontal white bit is actually the air slit, what you thought was the air slit up top is just a reflection.

They make different styles of these caps, I got the competition cap but they have a bullet style cap available as well.

Received my profile RDA and ni80 mesh today

Hate it. Straight in the PIF pile. Just not for me

Ni80? Is that from Vandy Vape cause the included mesh is Kanthal. Never tried Ni80, have tried the 200 SS mesh from VV – but preferred the Kanthal from OFRF

The vape experience with the Profile does differ from its coil counterparts. Won’t say it is an acquired taste but I can see how some may dislike it. At least you tried and drew your own conclusion…props to that. If you do not object against Kanthal, perhaps give the included mesh a go. No guarantees but it might just be that deciding factor between using it or PIFin’ it.

I agree, it looks really cool! I got both the bullet and comp caps... They'll be here on Saturday. Looking forward to 'em getting here!

What's the opposition to Kanthal mesh about?

I am currently using 150 mesh SS318L but I would like to try to get a hold of some 100 - 80 mesh in SS316L. The higher the mesh # the smaller the holes are. The juice wasn't seeping out of the 200 mesh when I squonked like the stock mesh.

I think bigger gaps in the mesh will work better also. I don’t remember what mesh I had but I think it was 2 or 3 hundred. I noticed that after using it awhile the mesh seemed clogged up. It gets dirty after some use and the mesh acts like a solid piece which isn’t as efficient.

@Coolsiggy I got some DigiFlavor SS 150 mesh. Haven't been able to find any larger mesh in SS. Keep us posted if you find some. I just placed my order for the Profile RTA and plan on using SS mesh in that also.

I have found some 316 not L in 50, 80 and 100 used for filter builds, just not sure I should be using this for a heat element. I am quite happy with the 200 mesh and the Digi 150 is coming...just may stick with this for now. Adjusting mesh resistance is another problem, width and length....but how long can Joe go?

Sorry, just saw this. The Wotofo KA1 strip mesh has 38 holes per lineal inch. The actual strips themselves have something like 9X19 for 171 holes.
