I don't want to encourage anyone to go and raise the prices for e-cig products, but yes I would. I wanted the e-cig before I found out how cheap they are in the long run because I want to quit analogs for good.

I've been stuck in the habit of smoking and I hate everything about it. I hate the smell, the ashes, the cigarette butts, cleaning ashtray and having to scrub the smell off of my hands so no one smells it. Then they doubled the price of them and I can't believe how much I've been spending on a habit I HATE!

I don't vape for cost-savings. I did it to quit smoking and hopefully live longer.

So far, so good.

^^^^^^^^^^^

So exactly the same?
Yep.

More? Well, they are damn expensive as is, I don't know that I could afford to. Just started, so I couldn't quit yet - its this or cigarettes. If I couldn't afford to vape..... it would be cigarettes again.

If it cost's just as much as smoking I will still be desperately wanting to give up vaping and save all that money, or at least spend it on more important things.....I spent last winter shivering because I couldn't afford too much heating....yet I could have kept warm easily if I didn't spend any money on vaping.

No, I'd still be smoking analogs if they were as cheap as vaping. The only reason that I quit smoking was for the money reason. If they cost the same it would be much easier to run down to the gas station and get a pack of smokes instead of going through all of the ordering and mail ordering stuff of vaping.

However, if the good vaping supplies were at the store, like the stuff that I order now, not the crap that you see at the local tobacco hut- I would keep vaping.

I've just started but I would keep vaping. Smoking a pack and a half a day is easier than ordering all this stuff online, but after 4 days cigarettes already taste like crap - the 1 I had this morning was horrible and I put it out halfway through. I was spending around $300/mon on smokes - I could spend $1000 a month on liquids and it'd still be cheaper than the hundreds of thousands I might wind up spending on medical bills if I keep smoking. And playing w/ all these gadgets and flavors is alot more fun than dying young :)

I refuse to even try an analog right now, so I'm not ever going to know how much different it tastes to me now, even after a short time. I have a friend that still smokes analogs, but I'm not going to ask him. I don't want to feel like I am "cheating" you know? I like the cold turkey feeling.

I did have a dream last night where I was smoking an analog and I remember in the dream that I felt so so horrible about doing it! I always have the most weird dreams that take into account what is going on in my waking life.

My cost analysis.

1 pack of Cigs = U$10.00

I used to smoke 3-4 packs a week = U$40.00 a week

I have spent U$110 for 2 x 510 started kits.
I have spent around U$200 (Juice, PPC, carts) So in the last month I have spent close to U$310.00 which is a lot higher than what I would have spent on analogs. If the juice I already have (about 200ml) worth last me 2 months, then I would start breaking even if nothing else breaks.

I vape about 5-7ml a day which is equal to 20-28 days.

So in conclusion I think e-cigs are more expensive for me.
