Thanks - NOW I can see what the cap is supposed to be touching with the cap screwed on all the way.
Thanks for the videos Drew great demos
I am using the Noalox too after Hittman turned me on to it i got a small tube from home depot for under 3.00 i recommend it to everyone. i haven't had to clean my switch or reapply yet and Ive been using for a couple of weeks. It makes the switch connection so much smoother.
When you say it makes it smoother does that mean it makes the button more consistent? I am having issues with having to press down pretty hard and perfectly straight down on the button to get it to fire. I tried the tips in the forum and also unassembled the switch and attempted to clean but it wasnt dirty yet.
Awesome, I will get some today! Thank you
Thank you for the thorough explanation. Off to Home Depot I goDrew thanks for the recognition and thanks even more for making the videos. I am glad I could help just a little. Also, Cherice asked about what the noalox does. It is a anti-oxidant. Aluminum naturally forms surface oxides that can prevent a good electrical connection. By cleaning the body and then applying the noalox, it keeps those oxides from forming and allows for a good electrical contact so the voltage trying to go from the switch to the body makes good contact.
your welcome just sharing the great find that Hittman gave me
so worth picking up...my fingers don't have the indent they did from pressing so hard anymore
I picked some up today.. it works perfect!!
