I buy my gas at the wal mart station. Good gas.
For some reason I was only half paying attention when Pooh stuff was read by my parents as bedtime stories, and has been a lifelong habit, I would have trouble following the plot lines and would gather misimpressions about aspects of the stories. Long story short: I never got over my disappointment when my long-held belief that Christopher Robin was a robin was shattered by reality, lol.I have 2 kids and "house on pooh corner" is a song I've sung both of them to sleep with. Along with reading Pooh stories to them. The "Nitty Gritty Earth Band" wrote House.
I drive a Tahoe. I just spent 2500.00 to have it repaired after it sat for awhile after I had surgery & because it was running really rough when I started it. It was because all that EPA REQUIRED crap gas is made from corn, & builds up in the engine, gets sticky, & freezes things up because there isn't enough detergent in the fuel to keep that from happening. I don't think they should have to pay (if in fact they do) to be listed as TT. I think it's more probable that they have to cover the cost for TT to have their products independantly tested to verify that the product meets their established standard.I had to look that up. Sounded like an in-house self-promotion-type thing, which it sort of is and sort of isn't. It's a level of detergent in the gasoline which is much higher than the minimum amount of detergent required by the EPA. The thing about it that bothers me is that gasoline companies have to pay annual fees for the "Top Tier" label, in addition to proving that all the gas sold by the company meets the higher detergent minimum.
According to Wikipedia: "In the U.S, Aloha Petroleum, ARCO, Beacon, BP,Costco Wholesale, CountryMark, Diamond Shamrock, Express Convenience Centres, Exxon, Hawaii Fuelling Network (HFN), Holiday Stationstores, Mobil, Ohana Fuels, Shamrock, Sinclair,Suncor Energy Inc, SuperAmerica, Texaco, Tri-Par Oil Company, and Valero now offer TOP TIER gasoline."

Yep, Ethanol is why there has to be stronger detergents in our gas to begin with.Great catch! Can't remember hearing it before... probably did... <sigh>
Not in Casa Iffy.
Oh my, don't get me started on ethanol evils...![]()
Don't u ever tell me wut ta dew, fella! Just cuz it raisez food prices and letz ya gets less miles to da gallon ain't no reezon to... to... hmmm...Oh my, don't get me started on ethanol evils...
The testing cost is actually paid by the companies that make the additives. The additional fees charged by TT, which is an automobile manufacturers association not affiliated in any way with any government agency, are charged to the gasoline companies based on the number of outlets where the gasoline company sells gasoline, er, petrol.I don't think they should have to pay (if in fact they do) to be listed as TT. I think it's more probable that they have to cover the cost for TT to have their products independantly tested to verify that the product meets their established standard.
What is the bright green, almost neon, lizard that looks like a chameleon but is slower to change colors if at all?Female house Gecko's are way bigger then the males and Gecko's are much bigger the then the Cuban Anole's on my porch. I don't care cause they are both pure death on bugs. I even have a Skink or 2 around. If they eat bugs they're a friend of mine.
I had some native anoles around but they're not as aggressive as the cuban's so they're kinda loosnin out. still they're cool cause they change color from green to brown.Still they all eat bugs and have a permanent home with me.

I have put on over eight pounds since last year after surgery and am working hard at becoming healthy.
I was blown away at all the people here and could not believe the pics, music, wonderful people and real bonds of friendship. This is such a good way to start the day for me! Thank you!!!

This morning's nature observations created some interesting but odd pictures as I tried with very limited success to hide from these skittish creatures and use the proper magnification for pics that I had to take quickly, often before the camera was focused properly.

A green anole is my best guess:What is the bright green, almost neon, lizard that looks like a chameleon but is slower to change colors if at all?
Actually, the "chameleons" we bought at the pet-store when we were kids were anoles. They didn't change color much like a true chameleon would.A green anole is my best guess:

That would only be true if the spiders bit the bugs more than they bite me, but since that is not the case... paper towel, shoe, book, magazine, whatever is to hand is my response to spiders in the house. One of the reasons we allow some spiders to reside indoors![]()

outside the house... well not hanging from the screened in area - clear those out about 3 times a year. But, anywhere else outside, I leave them alone.
i loaded the HO and it showed 4 people in there and when i joined the room was empty
