Susan, I am so sorry for your loss.

Doree and I went out to the RV dealer to see if they would sell it on consignment and they weren't interested. Too old so it looks like we're going to have to sell it ourselves. That's going to delay our departure again! I am getting really sick of this stuff. Can't anything go right. Gotta fix the generator, front roof a/c and the dash a/c before I feel right trying to sell it for what I need to get for it.

I'm way behind here but, I'll try to catch up in the next few days. Welcome to all the new folks and I miss you all.

With a big hammer... Naw, I gotta replace the drain assembly - somebody (nobody in my family did it) threw a heavy bucket under the sink causing the drain to snap loose at the base of the sink.

Mine went up last year as well, but not as much.... had one already a couple months ago because people were putting large items outside of the dumpster.....and with the next one, it will be twice the amount of last year's raise....

The Internet cafe closed a good 4 years ago.

I was able to take advantage of my newly found Internetless extra time to install a new lavatory faucet, which took about 45 minutes; a full day's work, lol.

I think I already got the bill in increased rent rates staring in September. They're replacing the water mains, adding elbows and when they get done with that, then will run new lines to the buildings, so of course....increased taxes.... which means the landlord will make it back in rent hikes...

Wait till they send you the bill next month for the nice massage you have been receiving...

They can only raise ours at lease renewal & then only by a certain percent. Now they can fine you for leaving big things at or in the dumpster. But no one does that unless they are moving out. Then they just keep the deposit.

Some good news. I got the results of my biopsies, this afternoon. The chemo is working!

I gotta repair the kitchen sink tomorrow... Can't complain to much - I installed it all about 25 years ago and except for changing out the garbage disposal a couple of years ago - this is the first trouble it has given me...

that's great that you haven't had issues with it. Think my son and dil need to just replace the disposal, it's actin goofy again, and we really don't put anything down it, just stuff that gets soaked off plates or the little that doesn't get scraped off.

The drain on the A/C plugged up, but my dil's brother used to work for the guy we called, and Chris told him to put a T on the front where we can easily pour a couple cups of bleach down it once a month and keep it from happening again, or blow something through it if it does to clear it out.
