safe distance from a black hole
Since getting this rta my preference for a tight MTL draw has changed to preferring a restricted through to unrestricted DL draw. All my berserkers, zeniths and what ever else I was liking and using and have all gone back into their boxes and sit in the cupboard of "meh".
I like top airflow tanks so the ammit mtl got a visit with the drill and files.
You cant make the Ammit mtl rta into a big airflow device is the bottom line.
I drilled and filed out the airflow holes on the deck and post to as large as they would allow and also made the air intake one long slot rather than just the holes.
At best its now a very, very loose mtl or a quite restricted DL. I dont think I can use it ever again. I think I made it transcend the status of "meh" and made it land fill.
Only putting this out there for anyone who mightve been sitting around wondering what would happen if they started drilling out all the airflow holes on the Ammit mtl rta. Im pretty sure weve all wondered about it at some stage.

Everyone is different, personally I really like the ammit MTL RTA, good beefy tank, has good flavor and I don't have any problems with gurgling or dry hits.

I have been using the Ammit MTL RTA for about six months now. I love it. The flavor is the same as the Beserker with less hassle. I got used to the air flow in one day! If it gurgles, fluid in the air flow chamber, just vape sideways for a while and it clears up. Usually, this does not occur.

Apparently the Ammit MTL RTA I bought from Gearbest is a clone. I had to hit the first one with a hammer as the chimney wasn't pressed on hard enough and blocked the air flow. The second one I ordered (black) worked perfectly.

I wonder why nobody in the United States sells these. They are absolutely the answer for Building your own mouth to lung vaporizer. The beserker has great flavor but really messy because you can't fill them from the top without leaking at the bottom. The Ammit MTL RTA works perfectly. You'll like it.

I've bought many MTL atomizers after the Ammit, but it is still my best for flavor and lack of troubles, even bought two, one black and one SS to match my two mods :)

Never leaks, never floods and the flavor is outstanding. The double-sided chimney with top airflow prevents the liquid to heat too much and change viscosity.

Doggystyle 2k16 comes second close, but i don't like the draw on it and it heats up fast. Its airflow is noisy and the proximity of the coil to the mouth leads to spit-back when chain vaping.

The Siren 2 is third with its super-easy build deck.

The Kayfun Prime i couldn't make producing as much flavor as these three. Opening the top cap to fill it leads to instant gurgling and leaking from the airflow hole on the bottom.

My ammit mtl arrived a couple of days ago but I'm having a bit of trouble with it. It's far too restricted, almost like a vacuum sometimes. I checked the o rings, took it apart completely, used a little cotton as possible, built a smaller coil, but nothing fixes the issue really. Weird right? I never had these kind of issues with any other rta I own.. Anybody has an idea of what might cause this?

Mine was rainbow from gearbest. the chimney was blocking the air flow from the airflow ring. so i turned it upside down and took the airflow ring off I hit it a few times before it cleared up. that system of pressing the chimney on instead of screwing on like most rta's is strange. once i got it working, i was so impressed I bought another one and a friend bought 2 more, 1 from gearbest and a clone from ebay, all work perfectly. I think something went wrong with the machine press on some of them. I almost gave up.

I had a similar problem with my first one. Turns out these are clones. The chimney is pressed on at the factory and if it's not pressed on far enough it restricts the air flow. I removed the glass, and hit the chimney with a hammer and it opened up the airflow. Let me know if you get it going.

I had exactly the same problem with a rainbow one, bought from my usual and respected seller. Mine was completely blocked. I also used an hammer and it's perfect now.
Bought another one soon after (ss) from the same vendor and that one was fine out of the box.

My friend bought 2 stainless steel ones and my second one was black. Maybe it's just a problem with rainbow machining. It's the best and easiest tank to use. I didn't care for the coil that came with it, So i put 7 wraps of 24 guage Kanthal wire on a 2.5 mm coil winder, for .6 ohms and vape at around 12 watts because I vape 12mg 50/50 chocolate mint, and that's plenty strong already.

    Love the Ammit mtl:
why: i use only single coil mtl
    - the Savour is out of stock on FT and the AMmit is better imo; I got 2. -
    - I love Doggie Style but i QUIT it ( I have 3) because they're too damn much hassle to recoil.
so tiny and the screws don't grab unless you use 28 or thinner and even then its a pain.
*** BUT why does the Ammit always flood the coil whenever I refill? I have blow it out from the d/t and I lose about .2 ml everytime. Once I clear it that way it vapes like a dream.
    * I will try closing the afc next time but thats the only thing I can think of short of filling from the bottom.

Please comment if you have the answer.... thank you!

i feel a bit disapointed by some comments, and happy with other ones, this is my 1st mtl RTA, as everyday pod user (all of my pods are mtl or supposed to be) i find this RTA pretty interesting, like a lot design, finish, details and overall quality, no leaks, nothing weird, so far the unique thing i hate about this babe is the burn taste when dry hit came to your day, i've experienced 2 but are my fault, accidentally switched modes by mistake, 55 W hits, dammit... the worst you can get in this life, immediately replaced cotton, cleaned as possible inside, for the next 4 hits the burn taste stood, i dont like, adjustable base pin, actually lost the original one, fitted a regular screw, thanks god is working.

    Regards
