I finally got my fasttech order. I ordered it on Aug 14, arrived today Sept 11.

A friend of mine gave me the skinny on stuff from China to the US. There are 3 ways it gets to the US.
- Air mail. But if it has a lithium battery option 2 and 3 are required due to air mail rules not allowing them to be sent.
- Boat. Slow boat or fast boat. He said one travels at 27 knots, the other 9 knots (pervibial slow boat to China).

Once he sent me a package without batteries via air plane and one with batteries via boat. The boat sent package arrived first. He was all tore up as apparently he had spent about $100 to send the airmail package 72 hours. Both took about 2 weeks.

I just ordered some stuff from fastech because it was unavailable elsewhere and about $4 to ship it. I mean seriously, to ship a package from China to my house for $4? If it takes 3-4 weeks I'm cool.

27 knots on container ship would be like a nascar. 600ft ships are doing really good at 18 knots with 15-18 being pretty standard in good weather.

(i use to move ships all over the world)

a bass boat on a lake likely moves 27 knots.

the "entering a ship foreign arrival' is what seems like forever lol,, every T crossed, every I dotted,, every person accounted for and background checked then we start the bugs/critters check with the ag dept. and all of that is after your TPE is approved. .......and still your ship can be stuck at anchorage awaiting berthing from the terminal / weather. bringing in a ship is 'a process',,, but whats even harder is sailing a ship and the captain calls you at 2am that he has serous mechanical problems and needs to return via 6 tugboats and he is several miles out..........then you have to call Washington,, then your local officeSSSSS for emergency re-entery

some perspective,, the tv show biggest catch,, the one where they get crab/lobsters etc,, those ships are about 100 feet long,, a standard container ship is about 600 feet. when you buy 'boat parts/stuff/supplies' the price jumps up HUGE. the ship spares companies really gouge. (except cigs,, last I heard they were still something like $10 a carton,, but these are non american Marlboro,, these tend to be the European version,, which means it will have a horrific photo on each box to discourage smoking.--& they taste dif (its illegal to accept the cigs as a gift,, even though its a common practice from the Captain) (i know of 1 CBP officer in prison for accepting a carton ,, snitched on by his coworker who had a grudge,, real shame because everyone always accepted the 'gift')

I loved this job most of the time,, it exposed me to the rest of the world,, I met people from so many countries and due to having to wait for the govt to show up to enter the ship I got to sit around and visit with these people.

Russians are just like Americans,, they just want to do their job and go home to their families,,
Philipinos are naturally sweet and caring (also only group the usa has INcreased immigrants quotas last i heard,, they are well suited to live in nursing),,give them decent pay, room, isp and time off and your golden,, let them go to college too!)
koreans and chinese dont value human life as much,, nor the environment,, our worst injuries and problems always came from those ships.

Norwegians are funny as hell,, good people.
Brits can be very funny or very stuffy.

Norwegians and Philipinos make good ship mates

Romainians and Italians are NOT good ship mates,, that just a floating warzone.

Philipino officers with Philipino crew is not a good idea,, even though they are sweet by nature,, they have extreme irrational jealousy of each other over imaginary ideas/views. (there is also a 'North vs South' thing going on.

all of them love walmart,, Norwegians tend to go there to stare at fat people,, they are amazed at our society growing so big............sadly.

ships buy 'gas here' to get across the pond,, but before they leave the USA they make sure to have a tiny bit of EU style fuel ,, about 25,, maybe 50 miles outside the EU zone they have to switch fuels,, so that they are 'really clean' entering the EU waters,, a computer on board notes the location and time of the switch and is part of their entry process over there.

when a ship visits the middle east,, all alcohol is dumped or locked up. Your wifes pic is put away,, no skin is the rules,, pic with her in tank top is a nono.

Indian/Pakistans tend to travel with their wives... every woman who comes in contact with these ships should expect the wife to treat her like she just slept with her husband......strange mindset......it could be the 1 and only time you meet the vessel and still you have had an affair with the Captain in her mind.

That's a money-losing deal for someone. Most likely the USPS.

Please forgive the following digression:

A bass boat has a planing hull. Once it reaches a certain speed, it's mostly up out of the water, and when that happens, you can make it go as fast as you want just by applying more power.

A cargo ship has a displacement hull. Those have a critical speed based on the length of the hull at the waterline. This critical speed increases with the length of the hull, but the relationship is not linear. Once a displacement hull reaches its critical speed, more power doesn't make the ship go faster; it just produces a bigger wake. This is why aircraft carriers (which are very long) can easily outrun their supporting fleet, and why tugboats (which are pretty short) can never move very fast despite being massively over-powered for their size.

no arguement,, either way my ships moved 15-18 knots most times at best/top speeds to their design. they were not designed to outrun or speed across/atop the water.

Can you give me the name of a well known brand just so I can check prices please?

Thank you.
I've always gotten my nicotine base from Wizard Labs, same with flavor/PG/VG. They have their own nic "brand" from what I can tell, but they also sell a brand called Amerinc. As far as I know you can only get nic base online in the US. Anymore though you get 50mg Nic salt juices all over the place, at least where I live.

Cool. My place is terrible and yours is confusing. I heard you can still buy what you want in some places in the USA

I think your states vary though right?
Yeah the states vary a bit. I live in one of the better ones though as far as a lot of things go. I just live in a small town, but I can get pretty much whatever anyone could want. You just have to order order it online for the most part.

I've bought regular 100mg/mL nic base (not their higher priced versions) from all of these...that I'd recommend with no hesitation at all (listed from lowest prices to highest):

Heartland Vapes
Liquid Nicotine Wholesalers
Nicotine Giant - (higher priced than Heartland, but they've Price Matched to Heartland for me in the past)
Wizard Labs
Nude Nicotine

All were great quality IMO!

ETA: As far as I know, there are only about 7-8 states right now, that have restrictions on ordering some vaping and/or DIY things online. The rest of us are still "a go" with no problems, for now anyway. However, there are proposed bills in quite a few more states.

Let us know if these new tariffs are hindering anyone's stocking up plans including orders from Fasttech.
unlikely to hit us 'little people',, there is always a little loophole to not bother $100 or less purchases. even if the prices went up 25%, thats really not much considering how cheap we are paying directly from China.....now if you only buy from an American vape store,, yeah,, you should expect a 25% jump,, and maybe only a 10% jump,, the chinese will absorb some of the tarrif just to keep happy relationships.

i am more worried about flavors & the FDA,,, here i sit with 60+ flavors i dont tend to use,,,,but thinking maybe i should hang onto them
