I'd doublecheck that. AFAIK, 1cc = 1mL, so 100cc = 100mL. A 1 cubic centimeter little open cube...will hold 1mL of liquid. Maybe you meant 1.00cc = 1mL...which would be correct.
You know, maybe that is what this U100 number means. It means each cc is 1/100 of a ml. And maybe U1 would mean a cc is 1ml. I know there used to be U80 insulin syringes. And the cc units were different than the U100 ones. Today, I don't think you will find anything other than U100 syringes for insulin. It's pretty much standard nowadays worldwide.

U100= 100 units of insulin per ml.
1g of water = 1 ml
The conversion will vary for other liquids based on their mass

I wish I could find it now, but there was a study on how accurate these measuring cups, bottles, beakers, etc. are. And they found them to be horribly inaccurate. I believe they said syringes to dispense medicine was the most accurate.

I am a diabetic who uses insulin. So when I need accuracy, I snip off the tip of a fresh syringe. As for U100 insulin, 100cc equals to 1 ml. So you can measure better than 0.01ml accuracy if you wanted to.

And for measuring drug doses, accuracy is paramount. But for juice? As long as all the measurements are off the same amount, like .85 mls to a ml or whatever, the ratios are correct. And even in fact if not, no big deal. It’s more about % than volume. Consistency is key, and as long as you achieve that nothing else matters.

Yeah you would think. But my understanding that the cc measurement doesn't tell you anything what each cc actually is. I believe you need another number to go with it. For insulin, I believe that is what this U100 number means. And there is no way 100cc from an insulin syringe is 100ml. That syringe would have to be the size of a 120ml bottle to hold that much.

As @NolaMel said, the U before a number (as in U100 and U80) means the number of units of that specific medication...that are in 1cc of the liquid. That 1cc is the same amount of liquid, as 1mL of it. Some syringe barrels will even show both the designations (cc and mL) on them. So, yes...10cc = 10mL, 100cc = 100mL, etc. The Units don't have anything to do with the process of actually measuring the amount of a liquid...like the cc and mL do.

I'm confused by the above. I don't see how using the following would be different than using a 10mL marked bottle for your sampling purposes. The tubes DO have the mL markings on them, too. The shape and screw on cap seem to be the only differences that I can see. What am I missing?

10ml Plastic Frozen Test Tubes Lab Vial Screw Seal Cap Sample Container for Test | eBay

Maybe you're meaning use those instead of the dropper bottles? If that's the case, I drip all my playing-around mixes - so either way it would entail a lot of transferring back and forth and entail a lot of loses from the transferring of small amounts of liquid, just to add, say, .08ml of flavoring.

To get a clearer picture, I only use the prototype bottles for holding alongside the current bottle for estimating the amount remaining. I'm not transferring back and forth to/from them. Maybe that's where there's some confusion happening. :)

Everyone gets so hung up on accuracy, but I mix 236ml bottles at 6mg/ml which takes 14.16ml of 100mg/ml nic base. Even if my margin of error was a FULL + or - 1ml, which it isn't, that means the min possible nic concentration in the final solution is 5.5mg/ml and the max is 6.4mg/ml. To be off by a full 1mg/ml difference I would have to be off by about 2.5ml in measuring 14.16ml. That just isn't going to happen. Neither case would even make a noticeable difference much less make it suddenly unsafe or even mildly hazardous. I doubt even being off by that much with flavoring would be detectable by taste.

The point here is measure the best you can with what you have. It will be close enough.

Those are so cute. Obviously, you really like them, can you tell me what you most like about them? How does the size compare to the ijoy diamond mini?

No idea about the size comparison. They are small though. The finish feels exceptional and they seem to be easy on batteries. As you can see I have a pretty good selection of mods, but I find I’m always using a Colossal. They do TC and TCR, and they’re not too heavy to bring along, and the price is right. I think I paid $45 for the gunmetal, and $33 for the others.

To keep life simple I vape a low percent of one all-in-one flavor (by keeping the percent low I don't tire of the flavor). I mix every 1-2 months with graduated cylinders. 5-10-25-50-100-250 ml For very small quantities I may use syringes and/or count drops. After a few mixing sessions it becomes fast and routine. Mixing saves a LOT of money. All in one flavors should rival anything available from the pre mix companies although I couldn't say for sure because I've bought so llittle of those products.

Where did everyone go? No new toys to prep for the deeming demon?

OH...I think peeps are still buying new toys and other stuff. They're probably just not posting about it. ;) I know I've been boosting my stash with some new purchases lately.
