Ugh more decanting, no thanks! I haven't even done my nic yet. I'll stick with the 16 oz bottle which should last me around 3.6 year and just keep it in a dark place.
@DeloresRose Yes I'm aware. This was more of an economical question as the gallon is a lot cheaper but if there's issues with long term storage I don't want a bottle of flavor sitting around for 29 years. Still worth repeating for all the lurkers.
Time to order some VG and some flavoring tonight! My poor credit card but these are things I actually need soon.
Still using this VG linked below. It's been great, plus it's cheap and I have Amazon Prime.

I just got an order from Florida Vapers that I had to sign for. The other half of that problem is higher shipping costs. The signature required costs a few bucks. I had been wondering why their shipping was so high, but chalked it up to the sale...
I’ve only had one other thing I had to sign for, and that was the VA Primo from U.K. stabwood early this year. But that was pricey, I’m sure that was just insurance for them so I couldn’t say I never got it.
Thanks. I'm very new to DIY and need as much guidance as I can get. The DIY thread has been a great resource - I guess it's knowing which questions to ask that is half the battle though
Yeah I was a bit surprised because I live 2 hours away from them and I know that Florida does not have mandatory signature laws but I got an email after my purchase saying that they're required now to have signatures maybe they mean in some areas they're required and therefore they're just doing it with everyone. I read something unrelated saying that the price of shipping Vape stuff would go up to $20 a package if they require signatures so I think I paid $7 for shipping I guess it's not terribly bad. I did think it was a bit much. The problem I have with the signature thing is 90% of the time they go to my back door and I can't open that door and by the time I get out to them.. they're pulling away... despite the fact that I always leave delivery instructions when I can.I just got an order from Florida Vapers that I had to sign for. At least I'm down to things that I would like to have rather than things that I feel a desperate need to purchase. Instead of looking at something and being like Oh my God I need that because such and such could happen I'm looking at things and saying that would be nice to have. Like it would be nice to have a tube style Mech mod it would also be nice to have a handful more RTAs since the last one I got I don't care for at all I'm hoping it will grow on me but I don't like it and I thank the heavens above that it wasn't the first one I got because I would have just given up right then.. I do

Oh yeah.. it's all rather ridiculous. And I think taking more money away from the postal system is a bit of a mistake as well. I wonder why these people are so hell-bent on being anti harm reduction. It's almost like they profit off of harm. I went ahead and filled out the contact your Representatives thing in regard to this Postal Service stuff. It's like they're doing everything possible to try to get people on Black Market productThe recently proposed legislation stops USPS from handling vape mail AT ALL. So the cost of shipping increases due to the signature requirement, and also because you would have to use UPS or FedEx. Those two options are whole 'nother PITA if you aren't home to sign and produce ID.![]()
Fellow PC enthusiast of sorts? My rig's pretty hefty as well. I went from a mediocre laptop to a beast of a PC and have been amazed at how many programs, tabs etc I can have going at once. Lots of funI regularly have 200 tabs open in firefox on my computer with no noticeable slowdown. But I also have a pretty hefty gaming rig of a machine. No saying it isn't slowing it down just that if you have a machine with enough power behind it you can get away with more.
Heck, I have a Chromebook and usually have 40-50 tabs open at minimum, lately more like 80 because I keep all of my order confirmations in tabs in one browser window with the tracking in a tab next to them. lol (And it's lightning fast). I use the Chromebook for my online job and have been preferring it lately to my Dell with Windows 10 and 2 drives (an SD drive for the OS/Software). Plus the battery life is 10 hours and the thing is so light. I only paid $119 for it, but paid over $1200 for the Dell.I regularly have 200 tabs open in firefox on my computer with no noticeable slowdown. But I also have a pretty hefty gaming rig of a machine. Hoping someone will give feedback on this, especially the 2nd one for that price.I remember a recent discussion about which refill tools not to use because of/lack of metal cap. Can someone refresh my memory, please? This is the one I have:
$6.78 Coil Father Empty Dropper Bottles for E-Liquid - silicone + PC + POM / 30ml at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
I also have one of these:
$1.85 Authentic Coil Father Liquid Dispenser for Squonk Mod / Atomizer - plastic + aluminum / 30ml at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
The problem with that is if the vendor gets a large percentage of returned shipments, they may deem the US as too much of a hassle and not profitable to ship to.I think overseas stuff will always get through to a degree. They can't inspect every single package that comes into customs..
sure some of it will get seized, but some will get through as well..
Sounds like a fire hazard, stop procrastinating and get that taken care of! <3The problem I have with the signature thing is 90% of the time they go to my back door and I can't open that door and by the time I get out to them.. they're pulling away... despite the fact that I always leave delivery instructions when I can.

Yeah, but don't they just return the shipment? and if they do not, most people would just charge it back. And if shipments are returned, then they still need to deal with lost shipping expense (postage, packaging, labor) and then the hassle/labor of unpacking and returning the item to inventory. Even though China pays next to nothing for shipping, it still is an expense.places like Fasttech ship to banned countries every day.. If your shipment gets seized your out the money - not Fasttech (or other companies) (they don't refund for seizures).
So it's not a hassle for them.. It's your loss with seizures. They don't care - they make money either way. The risk is your own.

You missed some edits... Then I would just charge it back for non-delivery of product. They would not only be out the product and the shipping, but would need to pay a charge back fee.You still bought the item and they don't refund for seizures - this hurts them in no way shape or form.
