Are you done stocking up?

It was/is painful, but I believe I am stocked now. My problem is that I am relatively new to vaping. It's taken some time to even determine my vaping preferences. So then I had to jump from deciding what I like to how much I need for the rest of my life, or even if it is worth it to stock up that long. Going on statistics, I have several more decades before I kick the bucket (here's hoping).

Was it worth it? It's still an open question to me, but I decided to say a tentative "yes" while I still had the choice to decide. If I am wrong, I can offload at a later date (hopefully).

Living in NY, I have already seen many of my options taken away here at the last minute. Which as a side note, I read this interesting article. Looks like a future refuge for vapers may be in Native American reservations. I wonder if they would be subject to FDA? Native American Reservations a Haven for New York Vape Shops

Another side note. Just got a Brunhilde MTL RTA. For vaping coil-killing naturally extracted tobaccos, it's perfect. Such an easy build and you can easily swap coil/cotton without messing with the tank itself. Between that and the SXK Doggystyle 2K16, I am all set for atomizers.

You will have to report your purchases and pay your state's sales/usage tax as well as any vapor taxes they have, directly to the state.

They CAN & WILL get records from these places to see who is and is not paying the sales/usage and vapor taxes.

My story (short version):
Back in 2007 or so I got a letter & bill from my state tyranny department showing me my purchases I made from an Indian reservation that sold cigarettes online and they calculated my taxes including penalties. I ended up owing them around $3K in taxes and penalties for about 3 years or so worth of purchases.

You can't escape these crooks as long as you are breathing "their" air.

The feds don't consider sovereignty if a non native is buying on the rez. They made the Puyallup tribe miserable, confiscating truckloads of cigs, etc. until they caved and started charging/paying taxes to the gov. A carton of cigs went from 10.00 to 35 overnight. That is when I decided I needed to quit.

I have never purchased anything from a REZ, assuming from what you are saying that they take your name and number? Even if you use cash?

I bought online so there wasn't any way around it. I didn't even realize at the time that I had to pay sales/usage taxes.

Holy Crud, AZ has NEVER done that and we spent most of our LIFE here buying tobacco from them like, without tax or with more minimal tax or like, no tax I don't even remember. Of course we bought loose tobacco and filters, I wonder if it was taxed differently.

Do you get taxed on your gambling winnings on a Casino on the reservation if they are significant?

It really seems unfair if I had to pay any tax at all, I would want to pay it to the Reservation.

Reservations are IDEAL for this kind of stuff though, in general, if there is a way for them to SHOVE something up the Federal Government's LEFT NOSTRIL and leave it there, they will do so.

No the husband says in AZ it's all kind of wack where they sort of give and take where like, somehow the tax gets somewhere else and like whatnot, but it's a lot less and really I barely understood the information.

If you're asking me, I have no idea. I don't gamble and have never even been in a casino. I like to stay miles away from crowds & noise. I'm allergic to them.

However, if I were to venture a guess I would say those winnings are taxable (as long as they know you won anything lol).

I hate casinos too. I am really good at poker and some other stuff, but not when it's REAL money.

The rez I worked for built this HUGE GRAND Casino and there was the VAULTED ceiling that was a big deal because there was this huge, grand, gigantic SKY all over it and it was designed to keep you there I guess.

LOL I thought it was kind of cool until one day when I was staring up at it (out of the blue) like, I noticed they had not plastered over any of the RIVETS. They were quite visible.

It wasn't really the same after that.

Okay I gotta go run check something I think. I think I am gonna have to tell Safeway to Blow Me when it comes to my Adderall if I possibly can. I need 11 days, maybe 12. IDK. I switched generics one time and almost had a total meltdown. My doc is out of town this week but I MIGHT have enough. Here's hoping.

Speaking of annoying things to obtain.

I like my mini, but I'm philosophically opposed to disposable pods. I prefer pods with replaceable coils. Just my :2c:

Well from what I understand from the "Savvy Vape Lady" (@JCinFL) these pod coils can be rebuilt . . . ;)

BTW & Just as an FYI: From what I know and experienced personally . . . Unless a Revenue Person is present and catches you in the act - there are NO Federal/State Taxes on anything purchased on Indigenous American properties (i.e., Reservation) when bought by an individual (Oh Yea - They have drive throughs, where I have seen County & Local police cars in line to purchase Cigs too) . . . It is my understanding - any and all the Taxes and/or Fines charged are only on purchase made via the internet or sent via USPS and Ya' are caught . . . BEEN THERE DONE THAT . . . As I mentioned once before, I purchased 6 cartons of cig's in person (not via internet) and sent them to a friend who live in NYC as a "Birthday Gift" with a card - USPS confiscated the package until someone w/ID came to Post Office to claim it - which of course never happened . . . Just Sayin' . . .

The casino withholds taxes from significant winnings.

YEP - However, when it was just a Bingo Hall, if ya' won the Jackpot (which at times was a few K) they would pay you cash ($20 Bills) and give it to you in brown paper bags . . . No Taxes taken out . . . It was your responsibility to report any winning & pay the taxes to the government if you chose to . . . Then they would have their police follow you off the reservation, especially if it was a Midnight game and if you lived close by - they would be kind enough to follow you home. . . Just Sayin' . . .

This guy does a good job, IMO, of telling all about the MiniFit (for newbies to it) and how to rebuild the pods. Plus, I kind of like listening to his accent.

Who's @JCinFL? :D I screwed up when I registered and put the A in it, too, like the abbreviation used to be from the get-go.

If you are interested, do a search re the Puyallup tribe in WA state and their troubles with the feds. Ultimately, the feds harassed them till they gave up after many years.

Here is one article about it.
State, Puyallups, sign agreement on cigarette tax
