Are you done stocking up?

I've been down this road before, too, with a couple of people who didn't take care of their supplies. The ones I'm dealing with now agreed to pay me out a little at a time (one already has made a payment). However, they are really struggling otherwise, so I just decided to cancel the debt and gift them. I just hope they take care of their equipment. If they decide they won't use them anymore, I'll ask them to return the equipment for safe-keeping in case they want them later. But the nic bothers me. I'm not sure the ability to buy it won't go south earlier than 2018...maybe a lot earlier...

That is why it is an excellent idea to stock up on nic now. I truly believe they won't allow high nic after August or soon after without a license. My opinion of course, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

I'm good on hardware. 8 egos/Evods and a couple vision spinners to use up before I start on my 6 (so far) replaceable battery VV/VW Mods. IF I somehow manage to outlive all them I have plans I've saved from the archives for home built mechanical mods. About a dozen ProTanks, 6 Evod tanks and a few others that use the same coils and whole baggie full of rebuildable Kanger coils. And a squape RBA.

I'm not done...about 2/3rds done, but with room to add as I see fit.

I'm going to keep ordering RTAs and mods once or twice a week and then hopefully there will be some July 4th sales and I'll just do the big, last hurrah-style purchases then.

I wasn't worried about access until I saw WA is doing that awful HB again. Thought that was at least overwith until the FDA banhammer falls. If I can't legally order from FT then I'm going to exploit access to it until 8/8/16, when WA state's no online tobacco commerce kicks in.

If I've gotten any details about the legislation wrong, please correct me, as I do not want to inadvertently spread misinformation.

Just make sure you have YOUR nic taken care of first. If they want to hurry up and get it taken care of fast just in case, they can pay for it. DO NOT go into your own personal stash on a maybe!

looks like its to early to tell.here is a statement I got from a vender on facebook."Unless you are manufacturing something you wont need a tobacco license. As of right now this is all inclusive, such as if your building coils you need a license. If you are selling components made elsewhere you are not required to have a tobacco license. All of it is subject to change before the effective date of 8/8/2018."

Done? I haven't bothered to start and dont plan too any time soon. I'll get a couple tanks i like and maybe a back up mod at some point but other than that im not buying 10+ years worth of crap i'll probably never have to use. If it ever comes to that i'll just quit.

In my opinion people are going overboard stocking up before we even know whats really going to happen.

As quitting vaping would likely lead me to eventually smoke again, I've bet a couple hundred bucks that vaping as we know it, at the prices we are seeing, will not be around within a few months.

Less than most people's health insurance premium for one month, but the best insurance I can get!

Unfortunately my own experience through the past 6 years has been that if someone doesn't have their own money invested in their vaping supplies they don't stick with it.
I have noticed this too. My youngest sister (she is 57) is the perfect example of what you are saying. I have given her so much and even make her e-liquid for her. I was supplying/rebuilding her coils. I finally showed her how easy it was to do and gave her everything she needed to build her own. She decided it was to hard.

My older sister is the exact opposite. She not only loved and appreciated the gift of equipment but also quit smoking as soon as she got it and is now both smoke and vape free.

I thought I was done for myself  but I'm really enjoying this Aromamizer V2 mini that I got so I think I need to add one more to my stash. I like it because its a tank but can also be used as a dripper. That really does end the stashing for me right now. :)

It's the 18 year old grandson that still needs some stuff :( A car and insurance are his pressing needs so his vaping stash has to take a back seat right now. He prefers to vape but says if he has no choice he'll start smoking again. Grandma's trying to make sure he won't have to do that anytime soon so much of my recently acquired stash has been for him. I really want to add a LP Reo to his stash because I love my Reo grand and believe it will last a very long time and I do already have some spare parts that could be used on his if needed down the road. If I go ahead and get one for him then that's the end of the stash buying for now, if not then a few more things will get added for him.

You are a good grandma.

I prioritized my stockpiling according to the threat I perceived as realistic for each product category, and started buying at the top of the list and worked down. My list looked something like this:

1. Nicotine
2. Nicotine
3. Nicotine
4. Attys (aromatherapy atomizers?)
5. Mods (variable wattage flashlights?)
-from here down, I perceive little/no threat-
6. DIY ingredients other than nic
7. Batteries
8. Wire
9. Cotton

So, I bought enough nic that, according to my math (including adding a 50% margin of error), is good for 15 years. I'm having a hard time not ordering more, though.

I have 4x VM mods, and one mech. Still going to buy a few more. Will probably go for 18650 mods, but I'm a fan of the micros (miniV, nugget), and am not afraid of soldering in new batteries.

For attys, I've got 2 subtank minis, 3 of my favorite RDA (magma v1), 3 theorems, 2 avocado 24s, and some miscellaneous others in a qty of 1 ea. Am planning to order a few more subtank minis (the bottom fills are cheap enough, now, to order complete tanks cheaper than buying spare parts), and, if the avocado 24 proves out over the next few weeks, will buy 3-4 more.

I'm not worried about the things lower on the list, but I'm having a really hard time saying enough is enough with the nic. 15 years is a long time to get off it, and for technology to change enough to provide alternatives. I go back and forth whether to order more on a daily basis, though.

For some of us, quitting isn't really a viable option. Without my vapes, I'd be back to smoking in a matter of days, if not hours.

In my opinion people are going overboard stocking up before we even know whats really going to happen.
That may have been a valid argument for the past few years, but it isn't any longer. The dooming regulations are now black-letter law.

Yes, it's possible that Congress or the courts might still intervene, but counting on that strikes me as imprudent.

I am in that same boat and refuse to be caught in that position.

and even if the deeming regs are toned down to something reasonable I don't think we will ever see the kind of prices we are seeing right now. Taxes alone are going to at least double the price of everything. I am a firm believer in saving whenever I can.

I go thru the same thing on Nic I will probably get more because I have noticed this FDA stress is causing me to vape more!
