Having worked from home exclusively for the 10 years between 1997 and 2007, and off-and-on since then, and always having the ability to work from home if I wanted to, there's one problem with it: You never really leave work.Work is good to me. I started work from home July of last year

It might be worse for me than for others. I have a mean slave-driver for a boss.
I own the business that I work for, so the slave-driving boss is me. I honestly don't remember the last time I took a whole day off and didn't spend at least a few hours working. But it does have its compensations.
I was talking to my son about insta pots, he uses his a lot. My problem with getting one is I want Chewbacca and he's $119 Yikes LOL Star Wars™ Instant Pot® Duo™ 8-Qt. Pressure Cooker, Chewbacca™
Im holding out - for now, . . . we don't do big cooking any more..
I was thinking about a convection microwave oven type thing
Look into a Breville! They are fantastic and it is all we use now.
That Breville is a contender for sure-thanks!
I’ve been looking at this one....Breville Smart Oven Air Review
Replace both the toaster oven and the air fryer.
I will never, ever want or need to forget her or that she was here
Ummm...not necessarily, IMO.It depends on when someone started their career, at what age (or after how many years of employment) they're eligible for retirement from that career, and how financially ready they are to retire.
Much like the instant pot incidence, I was less than happy to see Himself come through the door with an air fryer. We have an ancient deep fryer that works and never gets used. Plusses for the air fryer.... convenience, speed and no oil use. Does it eat up counter space? Yes. Is it as handy as the instant pot? No, unless you make fried food or bake french fries, etc often. I like it, it does a good job of replicating deep fried food, but we don’t eat much fried type food, so it doesn’t get used often.Since the thread has been hi-jacked to cooking and work week, in which I have participated, I have to ask if anyone likes an air fryer. It seems like it could make Mrs CMD's life a little easier. Comments cheerfully accepted.
Have you tried making them with cannellini beans and almond flour? I use monk fruit to sweeten, but anything could be subbed. Himself likes the texture better than other non traditional versions I’ve triedWe may need a What's Cooking after May 11 thread LOL! Hubby is asking for brownies, so need to make some sweet Potato browniesI can't eat white flour or sugar so I have to be creative LOL

I do too, especially since it’s just the two of us. It’s very convenient. I probably would have gotten more use out of the air fryer if we still had a house full teenagers. It makes killer tater totsWe use my instant pot often. I make loads of boiled eggs and they peel so easily, its the best. I have been contemplating an air fryer but hmmmm
