That's a good price for the UCAN, but that site - I wouldn't submit any personal info on that site for $100,000 cash money. That site's built with old tech. Not to mention they mainly carry very old stock at 2009 price-gouging prices. I don't care if they are an ECF registered supplier, they need to up their game.

65% off $80 for a Zmax mini is still too much lol That's even too much for a full-size ZMax.

The site is legit. They are going out of business. It used to be GotVapes, one of the more expensive sites. They said they were switching from being able to take credit cards, to taking paypal for orders. I didn't use their site much when it was running hot, in the good ole days, but I did pick up a few of the cheaper, older tech for my nephew that can't deal with all of the high power stuff made now. That reminds me, they did take a long time to send that order out, so I don't think they're manned all the time now.

Got some vape mail in. Two Asmodus Colossal kits, one green one white, and a case (10 boxes) of Geekvape Super Mesh x2 coils. Less than thrilled on the purple o-rings in the white kits tank, but that's the way it showed on the site if I really cared I would have looked closer. Gonna roll with it, I have two pairs of purple sneakers I think I can pull off purple o-rings.

I am however pretty excited they sent me one of those cloth backpack type bags. Kinda cool. I'll probably have more to say on these Colossals once I fire one up, maybe soon.

Now the long wait for Dad's (5) Pico kits and my (6) Pico mods.

Just got another email from VaporL saying they've refunded two of my orders. The problem? Neither of the orders they refunded had anything to do with me. I sent them an email telling them to check order emails vs the emails they're sending out. Something is going wrong over there... just give me my Picos!

I haven't tried the Ohmie Tank yet, but the Colossal is definitely under powered (or my other mods are overpowered). Had a Kayfun Prime at 22.5W on a SMOK AL85, had to bump the Colossal up to 25 to get the same vape.

Cool - they have original Joyetech 510 starter kits on clearance [emoji106]

No it's not just you, their site is slow. They need to contact support for their shopping cart service. No doubt they are losing sales. I have noticed MVS is a bit clunky too these days.
I tried again to order at Element vape. After two attempts the order was placed. They took my money so I'm hoping the age verification went though. The checkout is super wonky for me.

BTW If anyone is looking for Berserker 24mm 1.5 they are back in stock. I checked everywhere and they are the only U.S. vendor that has the 24mm

I had about a kazillion of those 510 batteries, needed about 8 a day, to make it through my shift. Those manual batteries were the bees knees.:vapor:
Much better than the auto draw, Joyetech were the best but how old is that stock. Given lithium ion batteries lose several percentage of life per year and those are tiny mAh may not be worth it.

Z-Max Minis are worth like 5 bucks, 10 max. lol I have a half dozen of those, the wife still actually uses one. A full size Z-max might be worth $15, but to me they are worth $0. I did not have good luck with the full size Z-Max, I had a half dozen of them and each one quit within about a month or so of usage.

I don't own either mod but I'd hazard a guess that the Smok is more likely to be overpowered than the other way round. Asmodus chips are pretty well regarded. Did you try the same build on a third mod - maybe a DNA? that might point you in the right direction

I have had the same issue with both the Colossal and the Lustro. I figure it's a non-issue issue. LOL

^THIS^ except that I think SMOK mods are just inconsistent

My SMok mods I tend to run at 30+ Watts with the same tank/coil I run at 15 on other mods.

Seems to me like the best vapocalypse plan is to just plan on quitting. Not necessarily right away, but within however many years of supplies you have.
    Perish the thought.

I'm 60. At my current rate of use, I have enough stuff to last until I'm at least 100, probably closer to 110.

    If I hit 100, I'll think about it. :p

    Insulators:

There's been much talk of failing insulators here. I've got two things to say about this.

    1) Heat is obviously their enemy, but the heat produced in a wet atty during normal use should not be enough to damage them. So I think the biggest potential for damage is when one dry burns a coil. Keep a wet paper towel handy when you dry burn. Use it to pull heat out of the coil and atty immediately after you release the fire button.

    2) You get what you pay for. If you buy a $10 clone, you can bet the manufacturer has cut costs wherever they could. They'll do things like use the cheapest possible material to make the insulator out of. If you're in this for the long term, buying the cheapest things you can find might just be penny wise and pound foolish.

Even if I DID quit for some reason, I would want the gear available in case I was tempted again.
