Cigarettes have FAR more nicotine in them than what is actually inhaled by the user.I would have to say more addictive.
Most vapors I know increase their nic consumption over their old analogue habits.
One can look at their nic consumption in perspective.
An average American cigarette has an average of 1mg of nic in it. The mg number you see on your ejuice standards for mgs per ml, milligrams per milliliter, thus 1ml of 9mg nic = 9mgs of nic, 1ml of 12mg nic = 12mgs, etc.
Therefore 1ml of 12mg nic juice = 12 (average) American cigarettes, 1ml of 18mg nic juice = 18 (average) American cigarettes and so on.
So if an individual is using the higher juice amounts I see, let's say 4 mls of 18mg nic, that would equate to 4 x 18 = 72 American smokes a day! 3 packs a day, who does that !?

Just an honest observation. I keep in mind the 100's of other hazardous chemicals being avoided with an Ecig conversion..
One of the good things I have retrospectively noted with Ecigs is that 3-4 puffs 'does the job' for me and I am satisfied. The old analogue habit had me 'obliged' to finish the whole cig therefore taking 7-8 puffs. Those last 2 puffs on an analogue must be quite unhealthy.
Yes I am. I needed something stronger than my two PAD "full flavor" habit. That's how I quit smoking. I'm down from 18mg to 13mg but I just vape more to compensate. It's complicated, I can live with that...

Don't get lost in assumptions.
Your "therefore" might be valid if your assumption was correct that if you vape 1 ml of 12 mg liquids you actually absorb 12 mg's of nic... but you don't. The absorption rate of nicotine from vaping is only equal to about 1/4 to 1/3 of the nicotine in the liquids consumed. So for your 12 mg example, 1 ml of use results in 3 to 4 ml's of nicotine absorbed, not 12 mgs. It's far from a 1:1 ratio.
Read this thread, and pay special attention to the posts by Rolygate...I'm maybe still lost tho.. If inhalation - exhalation does not = consumption, and the thinking is 1/4 to 1/3 juice absorption rate, then where is does the remaining 3/4 to 2/3 of the nic go.
