I will probably feel that way once I have it in hand. I'm just getting really antsy waiting on it I ordered on May 12, didn't ship until May 30, and still in the mail somewhere. He said he would upgrade shipping for me for it taking so long (o-ring shipment got lost or something), but I don't think he did or it would have been here by now. Ugh.

I hear you. I'd be more than antsy given the circumstances.

Got this figured out,to and from work with a back pack,a cell holder pouch on the left strap with a revolution V2 in it

Clever. I'm working with an X2 automatic battery, a carto and clear tubing. My design will produce a totally hands-free vape!

Sorry about the thread hijack. Back on topic: I've just learned that DID will soon be producing a mini version. 16mm x 43mm with a 2ml capacity. I've already indicated my interest in one with the manufacturer. I can't believe that I actually may have gotten the jump on something over martinc.

Awesome Martin, my compliments. Lots of aftermarket goodies on both beasts from what I can see in these limited res pics. Duc is particularly stunning. Gotta love those SS swingarms. I've ridden the 1098 many times as a buddy of mine has one for the street and one for the track. It seems you enjoy speed too. I used to do a lot of track days on a 600 Ninja done with Ohlins, Hindle and Racetech. RIP. One too many highsides at Shannonville and a close encounter with a wall.

I`ve got a topic inside this topic to discuss;

STD sized RT vs mini RT (rebuildable tanks)

I own a MY-T and a Mark-T (minis)
I also own a GG AVS (std)

My take on this is even though the minis looks swell and all,the chamber`s air volume is too small for a satisfying vape;

For me,the bigger the air chamber,the more (or denser) vapor can be stored prior to a vape,the better satisfaction is achieved.

Lookin good at this point is not an issue anymore;make me cough damn it!

In addition,the vaporization process should be takin place on top,right below the tip for a good temp and more direct inhalation;if it has to go to Paris before coming back,it loses both in temp as well as flavor.

This is,of course,only my opinion with a bit of imagination.

What`s your take on this?

Eventually happened upon the DID, one you can actually buy without pulling out your hair. So I DID. On it's way now. Very new but pretty good reviews so far.

I've been using the DID for a few days now and I'm really trying to like it, but I don't. Everything about it is great, except for one thing (and it's a deal breaker for me) the draw is WAY too airy. Totally bummed out about this. If it were a little airy I'd be o.k. with it, but it's just over the top. I'm hoping they'll offer a fix for this in the future because it's a really nice rebuildable. I'm thinking they just need to make a new top cover with a smaller hole.

Put a piece of scotch tape over the hole and pierce it with a needle,see how it goes from there;

The way I understand those,the draw has a lot to do with how tight the mesh"seals" the hole and wicks;but I also read that some dont even plug the fill hole and use it with success.

If you hate it,I`d gladly take it off your hands.

Re Airy Draw on DID: That is in fact something that Scott's review mentioned but he didn't seem to feel it was an issue, more something to get used to. I don't like a particularly airy draw either so I'm hoping that adjustments/tricks will lessen this effect.

You can always fill holes and drill smaller ones but I agree that we would like a product touroughly tested and Chuck Norris approved from the get go.

The video was 16 mins, but no real info. Just kind of waggled it around with no good shots of the individual pieces, connections, or info on build quality of components.

Thanks Martin...the scotch tape trick worked like a charm.
