smok has come ut with their 1st attempt at a rebuildable tank WONDERFUL WONDER!!! SMOKTECH VIVI Tank - Detailed info for WONDERFUL WONDER!!! SMOKTECH VIVI Tank, tank,WONDERFUL WONDER!!! SMOKTECH VIVI Tank,510 VIVI-DCT on Alibaba.com

which is basically kind of a 1 piece scubagen;we have yet to know how much it will cost but it should be available Canada-wide next week or the next tops I think (coming to Canvape)so you should try that one 1st,should be around $20 or less, not sure (at all); that is a wick and wire rebuildable, easy to setup.

Then you got your DiD (genesis, using stainless mesh with coil) which seems to be easy to setup too now that I have discovered the rolling paper method!

Excellent, thanks for the response. I'll start there and see how it goes!

Well, rebuildables might just be the thing for you,but not the Genesis style (yet!).

I tell ya,making a new coil for one that works with wick is child`s play really...you are a hunter/fisherman,you do your own fishing flies/lures for trout?

Same thing :) (well, almost) just wind a lil wire around a cord and fix it to the post and voila!

I am here to help and so are all the posters in this thread if/when you want to make the jump!

Martinc, Thank you so much for the offer and help...yes I do tie flies and cast my own bullets lol ...only thing that is stoping me is the fact that the only tank I have tried I flood Smok tec??? I guess I draw to hard or something and flood the cartos??
I am using the ViVi Novas right now and there bloody fantastic ...can you change the wicks in these as well if need be? would they be classed as rebuildable? Thanks again!

I really don't see the need for no res wire with this tank, I was involved with a coop and have one of these coming to me really soon to test out......if that is the case though, I'm glad I only bought one. The wire is in close contact of the wick so the res wire can be made small enough to keep the ohms low enough I would think.

On the plus side of things though I did get on the list for an ngp 2 weeks ago so there is hope that it will happen in due time for anyone interested. Martinc, did you ever get notified about your ngp?

I got aknowledged and told that I was on the next batch on June 6th...quickly approaching 2 months and quickly loosing interest too...going for the 4.1 with touch switch though, the std with ring switch seems to be all the rage but I cant see why people wants that crude system over a switch...bound to rub, scratch and look fugly in no time

I would have thought that was a good thing, yeah?! Isn't that the Vivi's resident problem that the whole thing is res wire, and therefore burns the silicone?!

I'm confused..

Well,I wouldnt be caught dead paying $1+ for my coils; besides a quick and recurrent shortage (see GG Penelope) I can build mine (and a metric crapton) for mere cents....and having to join 2 wires is a pain and a royal waste of time (even if I was good at it)

I'm mostly interested in it for the fact that it is a mechanical switch leading to longer use and less failure rate over a button. I think it just needs to be wiped clean every other time you change batts and it should be ok as far as wear is concerned. I want it as my work vape, something I don't have to worry too much about, super compact with the 18350(buying the optional tube) for stealth vaping and light as hell.
