Any of the people here with Provaris with a DID on it have E4 errors with bad coils?

The E4 only pops up once in awhile when building or fiddling with a new coil. I get E1 E2 and E8 mostly but sometimes the E4, just wondering if anyone else has experienced the E4 when using a DID?

The only reason I ask (it doesn't happen often) is that the Provari user manual says to contact Provape if this issue arrises... wondering how bad it really is...

?! And... do you remember where you saw it and what it was?! :)

That would be the ERA, and you just missed a Co-OP that went live for this like 2 days ago at most, they are from the Philippine and quite hard to get here in Canada, or there's the Chalice from Mark Bugs, but I personally refuse to pay 150 USD for a rebuildable atty. here's a link if you wanna look them up : Chalice II

Personally I love the SS look of the DID and will likely avoid as much as possible using the clear tanks already on order. But I think you might actually need a clear tank for the mini as these things are juice hogs and the mini's decreased volume is potentially more of an issue.

Yeah, I never know when it's going to run out. I'm still not using it as my primary device, but I would have no way of knowing if I was out and about and then ran out of juice. I refuse to walk around with a 18 gauge syringe in my pocket.

I also had my first "false fill" yesterday, where I knew it was empty but the juice came flooding out of the fill hole due to air pressure. Had to do the tilt like beer glass and fill to resolve that.

Ya I hate those false fills. I now use the tilt technique combined with sucking some of the air/juice out with a needle bottle just before I fill it. Seems to collapse the air bubble.

Hey all,

Hope my post will get notice in this massive thread.

I'm new to the rebuildable world. Got it recommended to me from a vaper I met recently and from seeing so much talk about them. I have a couple simple questions about my first order. I have 2 phoenix rebuildables on the way. I was going to pair them up with the viva nova v2.5. I'm going travelling for an extended period and carrying a bit of wire and cotton sure beats out carrying a dozen packs of boges (which I seem to be going through in record time). I sold my lavatube and I'm going with a couple ego twists for traveling convienince (no charger or extra gear). I'm just wondering how the 2ml viva and the 3.5ml sit on the ego? I'm going to get either 1 of each or 2 of the same one. I'm wondering if the tanks sit on the egos flush or if I need to get another shorty tank cone or what? Not just for looks but because the things going to be rumbling and tumbling with me all over the place and I don't want to accidently snap a part in my pocket or something. Wondering which is the ideal setup to use with the phoenix for travelling.

Also I usually like to rotate 3 juices minimum (though I'm use to 8-10 in different boges). I only have 2 phoenixes on the way. It looks like you can rebuild the novas as well, subbing the fibreglass (or whatever the stock wick is called) with ss mesh and cotton. Is this another option as well? Should I maybe order a 3rd nova or can you guys think of another option that would be suitable for travelling with minimal resources (though I'll be close to the philipines which I hear is the great holyland of rebuilables)?

I apologize for the very newb question, I was avoiding rebuilables because I was like "oh man not another e-cig thing to learn about by searching forums and watching vids for hours on end...". Hoping to spend more time packing and less researching so I REALLY appreciate your answers.

Family picture. Short DID and Full-size with clear tank. Martin, that's GB in there. No cracks yet!! Let you know if it lasts the night.

4/5 coil wrap measuring at 2.5 ohms on the full-size DID.

5/6 coil wrap on the shorty measuring around 3 ohms.

32 gauge and 400 mesh used for coil and wick.

Lookin good!

My cracks were spidery, there were 6...I still have the culprit corpse :)

I woke up this morning and checked over the tank. No spidery cracks yet. How long did it take before they appeared?! The other thing I am noticing is that although I get HUGE amounts of vapor, the flavour really takes some time to settle in on these things. Is that normal, and part of the breaking in process, or is there a way to jump start it?

Took about a week...not sure DiD is GB friendly...fiddle with your voltage, see what comes out of it

If it took a week, it would not have been the juice. Tanks that had juices eat through them collapsed or cracked within a few hours, or even sooner. I'm pretty sure of that. It may have been stress related. Did you take it apart or perhaps tighten it too much?

I'm going to let this wick and coil work themselves out before I start fiddling. Also meeting with Fuzzione tonight, and let him take a look at it.. over wings and beer. :)

Yeah, who knows really...might have been compressed during its trip here;I never overtighten anything (learned this quickly with stuck parts) and lube my stuff periodically.(har-har)

Not sure of the ''over a few hours''...I had atomic cinnacide crack tanks but took days or even weeks to do it (FW hot tamale does indeed attack plastic right away though)

I think i should start taking picture, I received my Pheonix RBA's yesterdays, and the night before I received my Ato-Mizer, all of them are setup and in use as we speak, the only thing I'm missing on my list at this moment are my 2 bottom feeder RBA's that i should get within 2 weeks or so, with my Genesis maxi I think I'll have a complete lineup of dripping, bottom feeding and tank RBA's. Zombie apocalypse...pfff I'm ready :p
