Yikes! Are those pricy or what!?

Yeah, they are kinda pricey. There also Real Janty with a 6 month warrentee. And they're also from Canada. Not sure if you can get Auto eGo's in the USA but when I first got an eGo, Janty Canada was the only people who had them.

I also got a bad battery from them and Sean not only sent me a Replacement Auto, but also a Free Manual battery for my troublems. That and I didn't need to send the old Battery back.

That's our lot here in Canada. And generally why many of us order from the US. :) Mind you, Electronic Cigz' prices on the tube mods are fair.

I haven't been to Canada in awhile but as I recall, some things were inexpensive like basic food stuffs and Health insurance where other things were Pricey, like electronic goods.

Guess there is good and bad anywhere you live.

No kidding. I was talking with my brother in law who lives in Ohio about buying a house. Home prices there are super cheap by comparison to here as is their homeowners insurance, but property taxes are insane. Here in NC (granted I live 10 minutes from the beach) homes are reasonably priced but not cheap, property taxes are cheap and homeowners insurance is unreasonably expensive.

It does seem that no matter where you live, that there are Both pros and cons for just about every thing.

I've got folks in Oregon. I'd move out of So-Cal in a heart beat to live where they live. There is just so little work up there that I can't.

The only prob with an auto ego I can see. I use autos for hands free and I don't think an ego batt will do well to just hold in my mouth. The weight of an ego I would need to "bite" the tip not good for DT or teeth.
If it's in my hand I might at well hit a button. *shrug*

I kinda like autos better than manuals. Just like the way the work verses pushing a button.

Yeah, eGos are a little heavy for that...

And if I fry a 510 because I overdripped or my carto is going out, that's like $8 down the drain, but I don't wanna fry a $20 batt!

But from what I've heard the new auto batts have some fail-safes they didn't have when I was abusing them...

What would be cool is if there was an auto somewhere inbetween a 510 and an eGo size wise.

What area of socal do you live? I've been looking for a e-cig retail store in and around the Corona area but the closest I can find is Laguna Beach. Someone gave me a link showing three in my area but they carry odd-ball brands and none sell to the public.

that was the old base, the new deluxe has a sealed base they do not leak form there.

only leaking you will get is form over filling. or not using a inner plug.

i dont think anyone has had a issue with the news ones where they leak form the inside of the base and they also dont leak form where the tube meets the base either.

I just had one leak everything out from where the tube meets the base. Part of the little gasket looked like it was pulled up. I tried pushing it back down and also pulling it through again by popping the post down and back up. Wasted a lot of juice on that one.

I’m in Orange County. About the only retail store I know of is that one in Laguna.

Retail stores aren’t very suited for e-Cigs. Seems like people go out of their way to save 86 cents shopping on the internet. And they get bent when they can't.

Retail stores have to charge more to pay for the higher overhead of running a walk-in business.

I know what you're saying .... sad but true. Would be nice to see, touch feel what you're buying sometimes.

Zoid,
heard anything from Bad about the vision deux type plugs for the ce2 d??

I haven't. I think Bad is on a long overdue vacation. Haven't heard anything from him in awhile.

I've been having good results, or at least the same results as a cup seal, by trimming down the length of a XL tube to about .125" longer than the ceramic cup and then I take a Old White mouth piece and cut a cone into the underside of it with an Exacto Knife.

What your left with is a Mouth Piece that seals about as well as the Cup Seal but is Much easier to remove when filling. I see if I can post some drawings today at half time.

4 and 1 49'ers Verses Undefeated Lions. Who would have thunk it?

I agree...

Sometimes all the pictures in the world just don't give you an idea about how something is going to feel in your hand.
