And even IF a big government man puts a big lock and regulate the crap of vaping, people will still get hurt one way or another. Just like people are still dying in car accidents.

Whats next? Regulating walking because millions of people twist their ankles each day?

So lets put those till foil hats too a better use.

lol, you just keep bringing up the same argument without thoroughly understanding what im trying to say. im not asking you to agree with my stand on a point. all you are doing is overly exaggerating the point im making to an extreme that isnt relevant, and now insulting me with your childish tin foil hat comment. grow up.

When your business, a big cloud, goes in my face or obstructs my view. It starts to be my business. It goes both ways mate.

LOL I'm not fogging it out in Wally World, crowds of people or stopping traffic at intersections when I vape at the stoplight. At any rate, I'm happy to let others tell me my business and how it pertains to theirs. I'm all about perspective.

I understand what you saying just fine, but you are too paranoid for no reason and thats why i bring up extreme examples.

Think outside the box.

Hey....let's stop doing everything fun for fear of the consequences.

Fear is the answer!

Obey your government!

fear is less common when you are not ignorant. the guy vaping the crap out of his mod, blowing it up, then running away from the incident was most likely ignorant. you can do anything fun you want, as long as you're not hurting other people.

i am guessing you have no clue about the battle for vaping thats going on right now either.

Sure i do, just like legalizing weed, gay marriage, gay rights, etc etc.

Difference between you and i, is that I do not assume anything, i dont try to predict the future, and i dont try to scare my self in to depression for no reason, then go on to forums and start scaring people. So stick to facts, youll live a happier life.

i dont understand what message you are trying to convey. Once again, i'm not fighting for or against cloud competitions, i was merely stating the fact that incidents like these can cause repercussions, and stating that cloud competitions with the unknowledgable participants increases the risk of these instances happening.

I'm not a cloud chaser, but I understand it. Vaping is unique because it has a technology/hobby aspect to it, and performance plays an important role in vaping. Pushing performance limits is what people do. I overclock my PC so it runs faster. Does that make me an overclocked PC idiot? Wait, don't answer that...

Like i said earlier, I'm bored at work and well yeah, I'm bored at work. No need to get defensive or rant about my rants. Just wanted to know what people thought about them. Did not think anyone was going to bust a vessel over it.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS all.

Actually the vessel was bust in your post......but I digress.

That cloud in my avi was done in my bedroom all by myself- I didn't even know back then there were competitions for it............sheesh....I might've won!!!!!!!!!!! And I'm NOT a 20something yr old kid.

that might be a possibility, but i think most of it will be due to the fact that people can get something out of it or since its labeled 'safe' they will be more angry and actually act on it saying the FDA/companies arent doing their jobs. It would be too hard to document all the incidents that happen before regulations. I agree that there probably would be more claims, but to what degree? Burning their tongue, stomach ache, isn't as advertised? Im sure there will be lots of 'petty' claims, that are already happening now that nobody are fighting for and publicizing.

I'm talking harm of the serious kind, where people feel they have to go to ER or are in need of immediate medical attention. There is recent incident involving toddler and death. This would be one that would count toward pre-regulation. So, if one wagered with me, they'd be up by at least 1, and likely close to a dozen.

I'd still love to make that wager.

"well, personally i'd say im not for 'competition vaping'."

I was trying to make a point about your support of regulations on vaping, and thata if we regulate because of every incident, there wont be vaping any more. I couldnt care less about cloud comps, but I do care alot about my right to vape

Anything can be a hobby. There is nothing unique about vaping in that regard. There are some hobbies I will just never understand with my small mind.

I don't understand the "Hobby" aspect of vaping.

Maybe I am vaping for the wrong purpose ... I vape so I don't go back to that nasty cigarette habit I had for 40 years. Kinda akin to maybe 'saving my life'.

I don't ever remember [anyone] that ever considered smoking cigarettes as a "Hobby" ... To some, I guess vaping serves as another purpose?

oh well, I guess you can make a "Hobby" out of just about anything.

Anything that I personally am not interested in, or agree with is silly, immature, and stupid. Why? Because I think I am somebody, somebody that matters....and if you are interested or find value/entertainment in an activity or sport that I don't care for, that must mean you are beneath me.

Sounds pretty bad when it is worded honestly....doesn't it?

The hobby aspect for me is in building the coils. It's fun to see yourself getting better, and to try out different kinds of coils to see how they compare to others in terms of dialing in exactly how I like to vape. Personally I chase the flavor with warm dense long draws. I spend money on delicious juices so I want to get the most out of it that I can. I like big clouds as well, big dense clouds bring big dense flavor.

My post about me not competing until density is considered was just a joke, but behind every joke is a kernel of truth.

After all who am I to say cloud chasers are silly? I compete in BBQ competitions for crying out loud.
