Its here, it doesn't whistle, and the airflow intake does expose the copper center pin. QC seems better on this one overall.
AFAIK the airflow intakes are NOT supposed to expose the center pin.Its here, it doesn't whistle, and the airflow intake does expose the copper center pin. QC seems better on this one overall.
Has anyone tried to fit quads in there? Lol I tried to make some quad vertical coils. I think I could fit some in, but with 24 gage I'd have to aim for .1 ohm quads. I'm thinking 2.5mm 5 wraps might fit, I tried 7 wrap quads but they ended up being too tall.
Oops, I meant doesn't. On the first one it did, and wasn't supposed to, you're correct.AFAIK the airflow intakes are NOT supposed to expose the center pin.
I don't know what's wrong with me. This simple dual coil build I have in my Cthulhu is working really nice, lights up evenly, but for the life of me I can't get this thing wicked right. I dread re-wicking because I'm finding it very hard to find the sweet spot on wick thickness. I've re-wicked this build 3 times since yesterday and every time I think it's perfect, I then start getting an off taste, and eventually it starts tasting burnt. I've followed pretty much every tip given on this thread and it still alludes me.

I'd love to see a picture of your wicking, I'm sure it would help, thanks. And I'm not sure what that part is but if you take a pic or describe it I'll see if I have a spare. I have an extra deck that I'm not really interested in fixing up anymore if it's something from there. I like to soak mine in a cup of soapy warm water before rinsing in the sink. We should make a mental note to close the sink stopper lol.
Sounds like you need something like this: Expandable Over-the-Sink Stainless Steel Strainer - BedBathandBeyond.comHaha. My sink has claimed many a small atomizer part. I'm looking for the screw that keeps the tank together from the top.
I'll take some shots in the next 24 hours when I re wick. Once you get it figured out, you'll be good to go!
