Huge can of worms.
Look at what happened the last time. The States' delegates were authorized to amend the Articles of Confederation, but instead of doing that, they threw them out and started over with an entirely new document.

What are they gonna do, go on strike?![]()
NiceIf they are intelligent, they will threaten to continue their governance, only maybe MORE so, like increase their work hours to oh, 6 per day and only take holidays the same way as the rest of us. That would be super effective, more so than striking, because it would strike terror into the hearts and minds of the few free thinking citizens left in the known universe.
The unknown universe is probably staying far, far away from us at the moment.

That's a sad state of affairs, isn't it?Actually more than Term limits, what we really need is to make voting on a bill that would either directly or indirectly benefit a company that a politician owns stock in, punishable as insider trading. Right now politicians go to Washington, buy stocks and then vote for legislation to benefit their holdings. Democrats do this primarily with Big Tobaco, Big Pharma, and Green Energy stocks. Republicans do this primarily with Big Oil, Wall Street, and military contract companies. In other words they are financially invested in the bills they are voting for. This is how they leave office so rich. Term limits alone won't solve this, it would just give them less time to make it big.
The sad truth is that we will never get either Term limits or this limitation I am mentioning now. Why? Because the people that would have to implement these changes are the same people that are getting rich by NOT implementing them. They are never going to vote to limit their own ability to make money.
Most of you might've seen this, since it was in the ECF newsletter, but thought it'd be worth posting here:Vaping Slashes Youth Smoking Rates
Sounds interesting, DP, but I don't know where to look. Got a link?Yeah, but...
There's the "lady" over on YouTube selling the idea that there's no difference between vaping and smoking.
One of our esteemed members did manage to cut her off at the @gnees though.![]()
Good job, gnees.![]()

Good call, DP- I only watched a couple of minutes. It was all I could handle (she's pretty scary!). I'd hate for our ECF viewers to waste time on her!I abhor the idea of giving her public space, but I'll PM it to you. Gnees' "exchange" with her was yesterday (for date reference).
She smoked, then vaped. Since she didn't feel any better vaping, she concluded that vaping and smoking were the same thing.
