Maybe put the link between bracketplainbracket and bracket/plainbracket ?

I can't use the brackets in that, because it'll hide what you add.

IOW, replace bracket with [ first and ] second.
That makes the link unclickable. She would like it so that you can click the link and take you to the spreadsheet. :) I got it figured out.

I think I have a solution to the hardware side...

1. Do like the sex shops and label everything as "NOVELTY ITEM".
Or...
2. Invent a personal air deodorizer (sort like the plug-in AirWick things) that runs on batteries and uses replaceable/rebuildable heating elements to vaporize the aromatic mixture for personal space freshness.

You can PM me for details on where to send the royalty checks!

It occurred to me today that one of the easiest things that I can do while we wait to hear the next steps for action is to become a supporting member on here. So I just did, and now I'm gonna take a moment to show off my shiny new badge over there. Mmm, ya that orange pairs nicely.

Since a war has begun, we need tools. And ECF acts as the trusty radio in our ears. I probably still wouldn't even know about this news if it weren't for this site.

For anyone that's been like me and has put this off for far too long- this is the time to do the seemingly little things like this. 2 bucks a month is literally nothing compared to what we all spend on this hobby. So 24 bucks for a whole year...I think I bought a drip tip once overseas for that. I was surprised by all the payment options too (all at once, monthly, etc) Anyway do it, it feels good.

Thanks for the prompt.
I am no longer just sucking up bandwidth for free on this site, which has been very important for me in becoming smoke free and, I believe instrumental in my ability to stay smoke free in this coming fight.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

At one point @Zen~ said he might sell his atomizers for aromatherapy. I made him a picture.

That's a reprint of a satirical piece that was labeled originally as a satirical piece.

Thanks for clearing that up. I should have known better.

Have you sent any messages asking him / corey were he stands on the regs matter ?

Yes, I sent a message through his campaign website. Still trying to understand Twitter.

Key word being submit. They have 2 years, (while remaining open), to submit their vaping products to the FDA, if they don't, then at the end of those 2 years, (not 90 days) they will have to close up shop.

Yeah, "submit" via application - a cost few shops could afford - as the rest of the quote says:

"He says the costs to get these products reviewed are so high that many local vape shops will be forced to close their doors."

It's not like the shops are going to just 'submit' a list of their products to the FDA and say "Are these Ok??"

And the other quotes:

"Vape shops say the fees for getting products tested and reviewed by the FDA are so high, most vape shops will go bankrupt and have to close their doors"

"Since almost all vapor products on the market were released after February 2007, hardly any will avoid a PMTA and almost no businesses, with the exception of big tobacco companies, will be able to bear the regulatory burden."

Bwahahahahahahahaha!

I agree with you. If I had the power to change their suggestive acronym, it would be SATS instead of ENDS.

Safer Alternative To Smoking

SATS also sounds kind of high tech, like it could fly around the Earth in space.

Are we sure about this.....or is it 90 days to submit and wait 2 yrs for the FDA to deny your aplication while bleeding you dry.........

This was the kick in the pants that I needed to become a Supporting Member here ...

I am living on Social Security retirement and waiting for my SSDI claim to begin (approved but benefits not yet adjusted) so money is REALLY tight right now. The point is that even I can easily justify $2/month to help support this community, that is getting all of us through an incredibly stressful time ...

C'mon, you can do it too ! :D

From everything I've read all they can do is block the entire rule.

But if they do that then there is some very good news that goes along with it...
Because it "prevents the agency from creating a substantially similar regulation"

Does that mean that the FDA would have to submit an "Unsubstantially Equivalent" application ? :?:

Oh, the beautiful irony of it ! :D

BTW I love that new Supporting Member badge. Orange is the new Rico ...
