Perhaps the Source of the Article plays a Role in the Tone of the Events?

I assume someone in the room must have leaked some version of what happened. Then whoever got the leak arranged that information to align with their own opinion of Trump. Those two articles seem to have been written by people who don't like Trump much.

I think it's fair to conclude that Trump is conflicted about the ban and is being pulled in different directions by the people around him. Also fair to conclude that without him in the mix it would have turned out much worse.

I said long ago that Azar was worthless and a detriment to the administration. Trump has always had a hair trigger with cabinet members who don't live up to his expectations so I'm surprised he's put up with Azar this long. Wouldn't be surprised if he axes him soon.

Nothing irritates me more than presidents kicking the can down the road. And every one of them has done it. That's not what I want in a president. Have the balls to address the issues based on something (right, wrong, public sentiment, voter preference, something) but don't just kick it to the next guy. That's the worst choice! I will credit Trump for being the most fearless to attack issues than any president I can recall. I can tolerate being ...... at a prez for making a decision I don't agree with better than I can tolerate punting it down the road only for the problem to grow.

hey haven’t been able to slow international “prescriptions” from getting through in all the years they’ve been trying.

But they are only sort of trying. If you import medications for personal use and it's less than a 3 month supply, they will just turn it back and send you a letter saying "We turned back your shipment and we would love it if you did not do that, but like, really, we can't stop you or penalize you."

Huge crates of illegal drugs? I guess this would be a different story.

As long as it's not scheduled, it's not a big deal. I imported Stablon for several years because it was what worked best at the time. It's a small enough drug market that (unless you were crazy enough to buy generic which I was NOT) well I also imported it for some family members having a hard time. . It's not FDA approved but it works better than any SSRI (for me) than I have come across.

I won't be importing any vape gear until after I know the situation though, that is for sure.

I was extremely sweaty and worried with my ONE purchase of something rather illegal. It so worked, it was so worth it, but I don't think I care to feel that way again quite yet. I knew of the sucker got opened, I would not be getting any polite letter about it being "something we would prefer you did not do."
