Good to know, I thought I heard there were some signature requirements and wanted to check before I start telling folks diy is the less expensive way to make juice.
No signatures needed for flavors, smac :)

So, there hasn't been any extra charges from anyone? Just making sure.

BCF and some other flavor suppliers have protected themselves. They removed all mention of vaping from their websites. And they have a number of different sections on the sites named for other uses of flavoring. vaping is only a part of their customer base and it's never mentioned. There are still a few flavor sites that talk about vaping, not sure if they will have a problem in the future. It should be OK. Even if things get sticky there will always be places like Perfumers that have been selling flavors since long before vaping came along.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It's been a while since my last purchase of anything. What's the climate like on flavors, especially BCF?

Just a flavor vendor, no BS. Just as Temco is an industrial supplier of wire, no BS.

Just received an order from BCF this week. Cheaper than Hempnetix (Heartland) and Flavor Jungle after shipping for 4oz bottle of flavor.

Use code "DIYADDICTS" for 6% off. May not work in "view cart" page but will in the checkout pages (just checked).

Okay. That is definitely not true.

I switched to DIY juices over a year ago and eventually just started vaping with nic, pg, and vg as the only additives. I ordered 3 liters of 100mg/ml nic and re-bottled it into Boston Rounds glass bottles. My 100mg/ml nic stays in those bottles in a box in the upright freezer. After more than a year in the freezer all the nic bottles are water clear. As a precaution I put all the 100ml nic bottles into separate zip lock bags just in case one cracks. So far, so good.

The root of the problem is there are too many people in our country these days who insist on making people live their lives according to their elitist standards and edicts. It's about as anti-American as it gets and stuff you'd expect from the CCP.
The Constitution going up in vapor
    {as to the Deeming Regulations - Apparently litigation to protect vaping is still in play}

    WHAT’S AT STAKE?
    • Rule-makers need to follow the rules: Under the Constitution, issuing regulations is the job of appointed officials who answer to the democratic process, not unelected career bureaucrats. This vaping rule was issued by such a bureaucrat in violation of the Constitution.
    • The vaping edict flouts the First Amendment by forcing businesses to run a daunting regulatory gauntlet in order to advertise truthful information. The government can’t require pre-approval for truthful speech, and it especially can’t shift the burden of proof to the speaker to prove the benefits of his speech will outweigh any harms the government perceives may result.
    • Beyond violating the Constitution, the vaping rule is horrible public policy: it threatens to shut down thousands of small businesses that provide potentially life-saving products and creates a public safety hazard by making it very difficult to improve and repair products.
    CASE TIMELINE
    February 26, 2021
    Petition for Writ of Certiorari
    United States Supreme Court

Vaping Litigation | Pacific Legal Foundation

This non profit law group "The Pacific Legal Foundation" is apparently stll fighting the Deeming Regulations
    - I don't know if they are involved with the current PMTA regulations ?

Thanks Mick. I've been eyeballing some of their brew kits. :)
That can be a real Rabbit hole. I used to brew and had an old fridge with a thermostat for lagers, CO2 bottle, pepsi kegs to decant the carboy into. Worked great, but that was before all the nice craft brews came out. Gave it all to a friend when I quit drinking 25 years ago thogh I do like a wee dram now and again.:)

    This is too weird. o_O

I have the day off today, and was going over my list of things to do. One was to order a brew kit for a live demonstration with our brew club at one the local brew pubs in a few weeks. Then, I got on the forum here and saw your post .

I joined our local club several years ago after my wife gave me a Craft-A-Brew kit for Christmas and since then have been brewing gallon batches. This year, I've been challenged to do a 5 gallon batch for the 3rd Annual Craft Brewer's Fest at the Fountain of Youth here in May. I'm looking to borrow a set up from another member, because I really don't need to be compelled to drink 5 gallons of beer on a regular basis.

I know :offtopic:, but, there you go :D.

The nice thing about using the soda kegs is once you siphon to it, you get out the dregs on the first glass and it's all clear after that. Also no washing bottles.:)
Plus the co2, no extra sugar and not much waiting:)

So there it is. The FDA gets to effectively ban an organic molecule and control it as if it were a drug, appropriating the authority (perhaps even to patent) or designate privileged assignment for use and production to its preferred winners.

    Lovely. Witness the means.

All based on a morass of laws and regs which first denied us free speech (commerce) and all but a few of us ever saw it coming, so evidently innocuous was the knife.

So it is written; so shall it be done.

    Good luck.☹️

On another note, Last night I was digging through a box of miscellany and came upon a stack of long forgotten business cards from various vape vendors from several years back. I don't think any of the 25 or so are still around. Looking at them I started wondering how many livelihoods were upturned from all this mess, most of them were small companies.
