Please post a Youtube video once someone has digested the FDA regs and breaks it down for us.
I'm confused about that. too. Won't Dekang be grandfathered in? Dekang was the only eliquid available back when it all started in 2006-2007. Even in 2009, when I discovered e-cigs, all we had were Chinese juices.
@WharfRat1976
this showed up in a recap this morning
''They don't ban ads
The new rules do not prevent advertising of products, not even on television.''
That will come in handy for BT.
Isn't everything "significantly equivalent" to whatever that was out in 2007? I mean, they are all electronic circuit that uses a heating element to vaporize juice. In my opinion, all hardware are significantly similar.
I can understand if they want to regulate juice. But hardware?
considering that line of thought... if the companies who sell/make the items affected by the FDA rulz and are basically forced out of business.... they wont be advertising.... thus ECF looses funds to operate...
You forgot potatoes.
Is over-the-counter nicotine gum in peril? What about the Nicotrol Inhaler? I know a prescription is required, but wouldn't it now be considered a tobacco product? How To Use Prescription NICOTROL® Inhaler (nicotine inhalation system)
No, it began a long time ago, with the demonization of cigarettes with usage bans and the whole second-hand smoke crap.
This is just the next step. Further down the line: control of your sugar intake, fat intake, red meat intake. Basically, unless you're eating organic kale, it will be controlled by a government agency somewhere... maybe the FDA, maybe your state.
Hi and thank you. I see you're a new member, welcome to the forums! By chance, did you happen to register on the forum because of this scenario? I would like to see all non-registered guests viewing this page to register on ECF and post your support like this kind person. We welcome you into our fold and appreciate your help, from within or without the USA.Sending support from Australia. I don't thinks there's much we can do from over here, but we're rooting for you and hope you fight the good fight.
I'm sure they haven't met whatever the new ruling requires. It's too soon.
The vendor I use states that Dekang has been registered with the FDA. I should have said "registered" instead of approved. Registration may just reflect the fact that they use childproof bottle caps that are FDA approved. At this point I have no idea what the FDA is going to approve in e-juices. That will all come later as they answer those questions. Clean rooms and inspections are in the future. I haven't seen anything that defines what can or cannot be in a bottle of juice.
E-Liquid Market has this statement on their site.

Oh indeed. California is already ahead of that curve, with about 10 bills inflight to really screw gun owners this year. They are keeping the NRA quite busy, assuming they don't just throw their hands up and just walk away from the state.
Interesting point @Katya.I'm confused about that. too. Won't Dekang be grandfathered in? Dekang was the only eliquid available back when it all started in 2006-2007. Even in 2009, when I discovered e-cigs, all we had were Chinese juices.
The interesting thing is the final police report stated that in fact no cap was ever recovered. This was a Tragedy and should NOT be used in a For the Children Campaign.
1) It was Nicotine BASE - you know, the stuff one DILUTES to make E-Liquids.
2) The Top was left OFF the Container
3) 2 Supposedly Mature Adults were in the same Room, and sadly did NOT engage in SAFE Supervision of the Child.
After the regs are posted on the Federal Register,( I believe that's today) Congress has a set amountWhere I'm still murky is the legislative process. I know that Congress has given the FDA the authority. So they came up with the deeming regs. The regs were sent to the OMB/OIRA and then back to the FDA. Now what? Does Congress need to approve the final version one more time? Or the deeming regs become law automatically--unless Congress, POTUS, or the courts oppose them?
U.S. doctors are so mean. I think I like UK doctors, better. But worse than being mean, I disapprove of their anti-science stance.
