Did I miss this here?
Could be. Worth a peek.
I love the "contempt of congress" option...
FDA Snubs Senate Inquiry as Expected, Committee Will Pursue

I vote for the simplest answer here.
You disregard the request when you Know your position is IDdefensible.
If that is true about your position, it's the Smartest answer.

No answer.

You'd only make things worse.
Bruce in Ocala, Fl Sure will make good Court case defense fodder

Arent those Chinese companies like p4u worth a lot? Can't they afford some of the fees? This industry has grown a lot. I own and have used like a vuse. But I don't like that much. I don't want that to be my only option because of the expense. Looks like we can stock up on diy supplies and black market will exist. Everyone else will do vuse. Blu. Or mark ten. I wanna say better than nothing I don't wanna go back to smokes. But the temptation could be real. I've flipped flopped a few times and so have some of my friends. Crap.

why didn't pharma embrace vaping as a medicine and market it themselves? It's either because they were too stupid or they felt it was less cost to kill vaping than it was to enter a new market. Not sure which.

Big anything does not like to compete, they got big by buying privilege, they do not know how to compete. They do not invent or innovate. The open system vape market would eat them alive as it is doing right now.

They are ignored by liberals and more importantly the liberal media.

There is no liberal media, there is no conservative media, there is money media and six huge companies own all of it.

Which goes back to my earlier point/question yesterday in that why didn't pharma embrace vaping as a medicine and market it themselves?

Simple - Poor Profit Margin.
BP cannot Patent Nicotine, only the Delivery method(x)gum NRT (X) Patch NRT, shielding it from another BP Company.
To late for them to begin to Claim any functional Vapor product for themselves with a high enough Cost to resale Value to be worth while. to many Hats in the ring and alternatives to consider.
We Beat them.
As Usual..............BT slid in under the Radar and with Help from BP/Public Health, intends to decimate the Industry - Freeing PH to carry on as usual, Allowing Public Health Corporations(Charities) and of course Government to maintain their Cash Flow.
All the while BT will offer a Few consolation Prizes to those still wishing to Vape:glare:

No answer only gets you so far. May I remind you that the good Senator is not exactly helpless? A subpoena is not something you can answer to with "no answer."

"there are several steps to take with clear historic examples of how to proceed. The initial steps are simply “louder” requests, but should those requests remain unfulfilled, the eventual endpoint is a subpoena creating the opportunity for FDA management to be formally charged with contempt of Congress."

Bush administration said it, but Rothschild said it best .........

Why are you and your friends "flip flopping" ? you will have way better choices than vuse for the next two years at the very least ? now what your state does meanwhile, might be a different story ..............
The big five are doing more than you know, as far as litigation money .........

Classy, this is nothing new. Remember Nicorette Mist? If not look it up. It's marketed in Canada, the UK and Australia, but not here. Contains PG, VG, nicotine and flavorings. But it's not an inhaler--it's a spray.

NICORETTE® QUICKMIST® | Fast Craving Relief | NICORETTE®

Directions (verbatim) from Nicorette Mist (Johnson&Johnson):

"Adults and Children over 12 years of age
Use 1 or 2 sprays when cigarettes normally would have been smoked or if cravings emerge. If after the first spray cravings are not controlled within a few minutes, a second spray should be used. If 2 sprays are required, future doses may be delivered as 2 consecutive sprays.
Most smokers will require 1-2 sprays every 30 minutes to 1 hour."

And the list of ingredients: ;)

Propylene glycol
Anhydrous ethanol
Trometamol
Poloxamer 407
Glycerol--(that's VG for those who don't know)
Sodium hydrogen carbonate
Levomenthol
Mint flavour
Cooling flavour
Sucralose
Acesulfame potassium
Hydrochloric acid
Purified water

With a little searching you'll find that the FDA has a history of not responding with a request for documents, then when they do, the material is incomplete. In one case, which I forgot the bookmark, it took them 5 years to comply.

There's also a new lozenge. BT has all the bases covered.

"With Zonnic, Reynolds subsidiary Niconovum USA launched in April a 40-count gum package with four styles — two flavors and two strengths —that it rolled out in a pharmacy chain and a grocery store chain. A 10-count mini-lozenge is being introduced in mint flavoring in July."

Well, at least this would keep the 13 to 17 year olds from using ecigs.

ETA: "Most smokers will require 1-2 sprays every 30 minutes to 1 hour." Does it say anywhere what the nic level is? I might have to suck on the dang thing.

I know. But this one is coming from the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. Let's hope Sen. Johnson really expects an answer.
