He-He...trying to entrap me, Dear? LOL.
Doncha know everybody knows it's perfectly acceptable to fire over 600 rounds into a vehicle and 3 shots in the back into a guy when his cellphone rings?

BTW, there is an investigation
of course nothing will be found..the bullet casings disappeared

FBI agents under investigation for possible misconduct in LaVoy Finicum shooting
That is terrible. Really sad and exactly why we should never give up our 2nd amendment rights.

The thing I wonder about is what must the ATF feel about losing funding control of tobacco to the FDA. And really, is there anything more American than Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms? At the end of the day, taking away alcohol didn't work, and let's face it, not a lot of folks are giving up their guns these days (yes, a totally different political argument).

Then again, government agencies never seem to mind complicating things by divergent regulation. Just look at the FDA approving all kinds of new formulations of opiate drugs while the DEA carries on about the abuse potential and discourages use by enforcement of criminal penalties. Great coordination between those two agencies.

And as for taxation, sin taxes are truly regressive in nature. They punish the poor and lower middle class to an inordinate degree compared to high wage earners. Then again, the same can be said of government sanctioned gambling in the form of State (and multistate) lotteries meant to "fund" education. Because let's face it, who buys lottery tickets? Not a ton of high wage earners, or if they do at least perhaps only one or two tickets if the amount becomes quite high. Otherwise, it's low and middle class earners buying many tickets with the hope those prizes will fulfill their dream (not recognizing their chances are hardly improved by buying several tickets vs. one). And the states rely on projecting that "dream" just for revenue without having to justify an actual tax increase.

Sorta like those cigarette taxes/class action settlement payments going to fund treatment of "smoking related illnesses". Except that in just about every state those funds end up in their general revenue, not earmarked for medical care. Again, an increase in revenue without having to be honest and actually tax people's income, which might hurt chances for reelection, because no one likes income taxes, right?

So let's see how the regulation and taxation of vaping works out. Fewer products, higher prices, and limiting ability to allow people from actually having the opportunity of improving their health at a more affordable cost than continuing cigarette consumption or other forms of treatment which fail in the vast majority who try them, looking at you, patches, gums, Zyban (what a disaster) or Chantix (another poorly effective drug that can make you depressed and suicidal). But all approved by the FDA to "help smokers". All while dumping a new regressive tax on those least able to afford it, forcing folks to turn back to those combustible tobacco products. Great outcome for public health and well being.

The reason they insisted and threatened to condemn the property
and pay me only what I'd paid tax on the unimproved property
was that they wanted to annex my and many other owner's land to Everglades National Park.
Then they leased it to Exxon who unfortunately
did not find oil.
I say unfortunately because I kept the mineral rights...
Well I am glad they didn't find any. Big sugar has done enough damage to the glades. Can you imagine if they found oil. Sorry for you though. You could have cashed in and moved to Canaduhhhh. LOL

I think it is like that Car Crash at the side of the Freeway. You Hate to See It. But you have to Stare as you drive by.

And you are Right. With what the FDA/CDC/NIH are doing, we're Not in the America I was Raised in.

I think I have messed up a couple of times now here, but I am not exactly sure what I did. A couple of words edited out. But no messages from anyone so I guess not too bad. Czech Republic? I might have to check out that one.

This raises a question for me then, just what does the gov have planned to let slip out for vaping consumers?

I mean logically, if mass death and destruction are imminent accordingly with their heightened stance of protecting the public, only stands they know something. Why else think mass death and destruction are imminent? Well, it must be and from the looks of it, they're planning for it. How do they know how to plan for it? Seems all too ducks in a row.

I can be very cynical, but I have had this observation for a long time. Considering the word "God" appears on our money, is in our Pledge of Allegiance, is a basis for many of our holidays and is frequently brought up in political arenas, one might infer that a certain book is being used as a source of inspiration. We all know how it ends.

The Department of Education is armed and has a SWAT team
The Food and Drug Administration is armed and has a SWAT team
The United States Postal Service is armed and has a SWAT team
The Department of Agriculture and is armed has a SWAT team
The National Park Service is armed and has a SWAT team
The Department of the Interior is armed and has a SWAT team
The Department of Commerce is armed and has a SWAT team
United States Department of Agriculture is armed and has a SWAT team

The Department of Energy is armed and has a SWAT team
The Department of Health and Human Services is armed and has a SWAT team
Th Department of Homeland Security is armed and has a SWAT team
The Department of Housing and Urban Development is armed and has a SWAT team
The Department of Justice is armed and has a SWAT team
The Department of Labor is armed and has a SWAT team
The Drug Enforcement Administration is armed and has a SWAT team
The Tennessee Valley Authority is armed and has a SWAT team
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is armed and has a SWAT team

Did I miss any? ..maybe the TSA if they're not the same as the Dept of Transportation or included in Homeland (in)Security.

All the police agencies in all the cities and some small towns in the US
are armed, have SWAT team AND are armed with military grade weaponry which in some cases include tanks.

Why do you think? Are they just paranoid or do they have a nefarious reason to be armed to the gills?

He who laughs last laughs best...but I'm not laughing.
