Which is why I think in the end vaping will be equally accessible and equally as taxed and regulated.

Yep both taxed at several hundred percent and limited availability. With strong restrictions on where you can and cannot do either.

Look for them to start taxing the heck out of the cheap "pipe" tobacco that many now make cigarettes with.
They did that once and the tobacco companies just renamed it pipe tobacco. Works for a while.

I'd like to see a list of all the published federal regs that were overturned, supporting your thesis. Compared to a list of those that never were. Short of an injunction there is nothing stopping it
Ohh I am convinced barring any suddent change in the regs due to lawsuit, etc that vaping as we know it will be dead within 5 years.
There will be available cigalikes and such with prefilled cartridges and that is pretty much it.
The regs specifically state that more regs are coming if the FDA thinks them necessary. This is an open ended thing.
I'd like a list of how many regs ever written that are irrelevant, ignored, insignificant, immaterial, extinct, outdated, dried on the vine or unenforced.

Fear of my state banning internet purchases/sales was my motivation for stocking up once the deeming regs were released.
I've been surprised it hasn't happened already...then, the other thought was that it would still be available, to an extent, but EXTREMELY high taxes implemented for anything vape related.
Where I work, the local sales tax is 8.75%, right at 10% not 4 or 5 miles from there.
A carton of cigarettes is $71.50.

Well, nobody in the vaping community is arguing about keeping our gear and liquids away from kids.
So I am fine with child-resistant bottles, and age verification for online orders.
In case it did escape the FDA's attention, the B&M's I've seen around did and do card from day one without any prompting. That was already back at a time when FDA shills were still tryin to figure out which end of a cigalike needs to be lit with the match
Same with liquids. Most stuff I've seen on the shelves ( real or virtual ) has child-resistant caps. Maybe Mitch wanted to vape too but never got the bottles opened and is grumpy now...
Cuz if you look at it from that angle: FDA approved and regulated drugs are doing in people by the hundreds, if not even thousands. 'Un'approved and 'un'regulated vaping hasn't done that.
So FDA got it all backwards. Fail to regulate the truly dangerous stuff. Jump on the almost harmless stuff.

I stocked up in 2013 before "panic" (the initial deeming) because I got a good deal on bulk buys and knew what I'd be vaping for a while. I've added since but more for the cost savings and again - I know what I'll be vaping. There's really no downside in stocking up,(except present time cash flow) since you'll be using it all eventually, IF you have nailed down your flavors and your favorite hardware. Or UNLESS you plan to quit vaping, of course. At this point we have 2 years, except some states may be raising taxes on eliquids, etc. before that.
Born in Detroit in 1959. Moved to Illinois in 1960. Both my P's were born and raised in Illinois (Dad Chicago, Mom Elmhurst). They moved to MI for a couple years and that's when I was born (Detroit) and then they moved back to IL. As bad as IL is, they aren't as bad as Detroit. But they're getting there.
