Until one of them doesn't and the rest follow. Competitive forces have a way of keeping industries honest and we need more competition in the health insurance industry. Get rid of the state lines!

I see. So if someone is, say, 40 years old and lives to 80 is it possible to,
A) Afford to buy 40 years of vape stuff all at once, and...
B) be assured it wont go bad before he/she turns 80 (especially given the investment stated in A)?
So far politics trumps facts, science, reason, competitive forces.... Everything. With not a whiff of a ..... in the wall of the anti-vape agenda. I'd love to see you right. But I'm a realistUntil one of them doesn't and the rest follow. Competitive forces have a way of keeping industries honest and we need more competition in the health insurance industry. It's a sad day in America when one thinks they have to become insane to combat the overreaching effects of their own government.Again - I am probably more on the insane side than others.
Can we get a sticky when you do?? You've been working hard towards it.![]()
The reality is, I don't trust my government to govern in my favor. It may be sad, but the current environment dictates my caution and I'm a firm believer in taking care of yourself. I have exactly one vice, and I don't intend on it being taking away from me without my consent. It's a sad day in America when one thinks they have to become insane to combat the overreaching effects of their own government.

Tweets seem to stay put and maintain visibility. More read than Tweet, but Click interesting links and gather information.
Yep. Notice any easing of restrictions or taxes on smoking over the last few decades?
Nope. But I haven't seen them deemed out of existence either.
That's what is so frustrating, the B&M's who this really affects the most don't really seem to be taking this as serious as it actually is.Thanks.
I don't even know why it's hitting me so hard today, I'm stocked up, my life is going to change little, if any.
As it stands, I won't need to buy another thing for many, many years to come.
Maybe that's what triggered it, actually finishing the stocking up process.
But thinking about so many that are oblivious to it all, or not taking it seriously, or those who are concerned, but the folks at their B & M are telling them things will be just fine.
I hope you're right, but I honestly believe that you're very wrong.I haven't stocked up on anything. Gear, juice, DIY, nothing...and I don't plan to. IMO it is way too early to panic. I know this puts me in the minority on this thread. But, oh well. It's just my belief that the hysteria I have seen is unnecessary at this time. Just my opinion and worth what you paid for it.
You haven't said a thing I disagree with so there is no reason for you to expend any energy on trying to "see me right" when we see things the same way.So far politics trumps facts, science, reason, competitive forces.... I will re-evaluate in a year. Keep in mind, many of our vape companies and advocacy groups agree with me. Or should I say I agree with them.I hope you're right, but I honestly believe that you're very wrong.

Never underestimate the pure greed of those in power and of those who pull their strings.Absent a court injunction against the deeming, after August the -state excise tax- floodgates will be raised to open river. We'll see how long it takes before the feeding frenzy reaches a fevered pitch.

But that cost savings is the elephant in the room. No company in any industry can ignore a massive cost savings (unless you're in a monopoly/oligopoly). If you're a CEO and want to make a splash.... Admittedly, the insurance companies are teetering on being oligopolies and this is why we need to get rid of these state lines when it comes to the health insurance industry. The insurance companies are already getting in on the Vaping = Smoking propaganda ... higher premiums for Vapers.
1) I am as finicky as it gets. I've sampled hundreds of flavors but have only two I find as acceptable every day vapes. I have zero confidence I could DIY a flavor I like. I'd go back to smoking before that happened. I know me.![]()
Well, the world has kind of ignored Sweden and snus. There is one ray of light that few talk about. This is in the UK where it appears the powers that be are embracing the health benefits of vaping (to an extent). In the years to come if we see their cigarette related health issues decline at levels we all believe they will as a result of vaping then it is going to be too hard for other governments to ignore.
I prefer to stock up when the prices are good so I can avoid the rush and price gouging. If I am wrong worst case scenario is I won't have to resupply for a very, very long time. But if I'm right ..........I will re-evaluate in a year. Keep in mind, many of our vape companies and advocacy groups agree with me. Or should I say I agree with them.
They're just hoping someone else will take care of the problem, that's what the FDA and powers in control are banking on.I think just about Every B&M takes the FDA and Deeming Very Seriously.
I wouldn't confuse a Lack of willingness to inform their Employees/Customers or not being involved in an some for of Advocacy as Not being Serious about current events.
And Yes, it is Very Frustrating.
