One thing about the GOP. They sure like to fight among themselves. You have the moderates fighting with conservatives all the time and the two sides can rarely agree on anything so nothing gets done or it gets kicked down the road. Meanwhile, the Democrats are all in lockstep. Problem with that is bad legislation has an easier time getting passed. After the Bill of Rights I wish the next amendment (11th amendment) would have banned any more future legislation. I often think we'd do better telling congress to go home and stay home.

To allow tobacco cigarettes to remain on the market while pushing to ban ecigs is a clear vote in favor of a dangerous product known to cause respiratory issues and disease and a clear cause of lung cancer.

You'd think that responsible legislators would see the clear choice in favor of ecigs, but the financial gain to the states from large tobacco company settlement payments remains the real reason that ecigs are still considered a threat. The money factor is the reason that government can condemn ecigs.

We don't see this in the UK because they haven't tapped the financial resources of big tobacco and aren't dependent on reparation payments.

It's all about the money.

This is how I feel about it…Congress keeping vapers in a state of baseless pointless insecurity about our future is the equivalent of political psychological water boarding and no less criminal. Likewise the President could with a pen stroke suspend any unlawful proposal by the FDA and thus squarely compel the Congress to take back its own authority.

These acts of omission by those obliged to enforce the real laws protecting our individual rights are the actual threats to human commerce which challenge not only the vaping industry but all of us in property.

The discussion should never have been about government's right to dictate, for the children or otherwise. There is no public right to take offense nor lawful government interest to avert it. There is only the imperative to defend the individual property right which the government infringes upon daily.

Good luck all. :)

Satisfaction and enjoyment have been monetized. Offensive behavior is theft of enjoyment opportunity, said the liberal to the libertarian.

Voicing offense is offensive to me; so, I'm even with those that let me know I'm offending them.

It's good we can talk about it. I'd soon rather trust that than gov presuming to know and impose my opinion or need without regard for my consent.

Good luck. :)

Watching Chris Matthews and the lady pundit just said that vapors had a lot to do with getting Trump voted in. I was not one of them, but I digress. She went on to talk about how the 10 million vapers pushed Trump and Ron Johnson to a win. Very interesting. The funny thing is Chris had no clue what she was talking about. LOL

I just Don't Know. But the Reason I asked was inline with what Les posted.

If your order was for an e-Liquid(s) that contained Nicotine, they might be doing No US shipping. But for a Pre 8-8-16 piece of Hardware, where being a "Tobacco Product" is Kinda Iffy at Best?

Dat's da Canadian way always doggie-style so they can both watch the ice hockey :D and bend over for rules that aren't in full effect yet.

Chinaman way is diffrent : A single spare coil, or mods by the handful, a single paper clip or 1:1 model of a fully functional cruise ship, vape mail always says 'electronic components' value tree fiddy... and no qualms shipping it straight to 10903 New Hampshire Ave in Silver Spring...

But it always takes two in business. One who buys, one who sells. Both can say no thanks.
Understandable to some extent:

Canadian vape vendors did get some heat from their very own gov't, so they may be reluctant to draw more flak...

Not sure how things are in Canada right now? I think I have only ordered 1 e-Cigarette related item form Canada. That was a few years back. And it was kinda a Train Wreck.

The Postman left a Note on my Door that he couldn't deliver the package. The Postage was 30 Cents Short. That I had to go to the Post Office to pick it up and Pay the 30 Cents.

And then when I got to the Post Office, they had Opened the Package. And said that they felt the Customs Declaration Value was too low. Gave me a Hard Time spouting Postage Codes and Quasi-Threats.

Guess it Didn't Help when I told them that I have had better Experiences at the DMV.

That would be great if it had a prayer of passing. Still nice to see a few people in Congress who sorta get it.

The issue is which if either would actually be passed. An out and out drop of the deeming regulations will bring out even more of the save the children crowd. But nothing wrong with trying.
Better yet...

We're moving in the right direction.

And looks to be picking up momentum.

I'd rather consider what's next and how much more support it gets than what was last.

^^^^^^^ Y E S !!! The redefining of vaping as NOT smoking to me is very important to convey to the public in general. It would seem vaping then becomes more acceptable and more smokers would be willing to give it a try. :)
My thoughts exactly choochoogranny. And that is one of the main reason for some of us to keep the petition needs your signature thread on the first page. The ones that can do something about this FDA mess are constantly updated on it.
