18-20..... this is a touchy subject for me. My son joined the Marines.. He was in boot camp for his 18th birthday. When he got out...Well, I couldn't take him out to the bar for his first beer.... he's still considered a minor. That got me thinking... he can drive a 4000lb lump of steel 60MHP down a crowded road, he can shoot an M16a4, throw grenades and defend our country, He could, if he wanted to, fly an airplane over a crowded city by himself, buy a house and land, raise a family without needing anyone's approval......But they don't trust him to buy beer by himself. Well, I still bought him his first beer and we drank it at our house. I still think he should be able to be able to buy one himself. If he's competent to put his life on the line to defend our country...at least our country should be able to trust him enough to buy a beer.... Ok.. end of rant. Sorry, I went into a tangent there.
