Some of us saw the illusion though and stopped voting. Granted holding no confidence in a corrupt system, not participating might not be the
correct manner to effect change. Still when you're patently told your voice in the
game does not matter, it is no longer a
game suitable to keep playing. Why consent to something you've no voice, or hope of altering to retain an ethical and moral ideal? Ergo, I no longer consent. I no longer vote. If voting actually achieved a thing, we'd not be allowed to vote.

I also note George Carlin & Lenny Bruce have said much the same as I've said here. Yes, I might be paraphrasing. When the ideas and thought, logic behind them ring of truth, well you kind of accept the rationale.
