Yeah, I'm pretty much in the same boat. I was too young for Nam but was in the 90-91 fun. What we are seeing with the FDA is a sign of what happens, I'm going to retire early and head down south, all the way to S. America. Can't afford to retire here but enough to get by down there. The corruption in the FDA is only a sign of the times, but I'm certainly not going to go quietly ;)
Give 'em hell! :)

I've been somewhat lucky in my life. Just a hair too young to be sent to Vietnam and too old to be in the next war. I've been fortunate in this respect. But sadly, I do feel our best days are behind us. I'm not being pessimistic. Just looking around at what I see. We've left a mess for our younger generation. And I don't think it can be cleaned up. Not a $20 trillion mess. We lived good, but it is off the backs of our kids, grandkids, and those yet to be born.

My signature line demonstrates the difference between how we once acted and how we act today. That adventurous, risk-taking, determined, hard working, family-loving dna that started this country has been diluted.

I won't take responsibility for the debt mess. Our politicians have elected to legislate laws that have made it beneficial for industry to move offshore taking jobs along the way. They've also established bureaucracies like the FDA, CDC, EPA etal. that constantly paralyze industry. They've made the US policemen for the world without being paid for the job.

I really don't believe there is any desire to keep the US the predominant country anymore. They have sold out the future for monetary reward today and the people are too lazy or uneducated to understand what's happening. That $20t will be $40t and the interest on the debt will be more than a weak economy can generate. I'm just glad I won't see too much of what happens.

The politicians did everything you said. And we're (collectively) the ones who voted them into power. Most times over and over and over and over again.

Moving threads to the OUTSIDE every time 1 Person voices their Opinion about a Political Party would make the ECF a Much Different Place.

I wonder if that is Really what Members here Want?

Well, this member doesn't, FWIW... I still follow the thread, even though I don't post here anymore. If it gets moved to the Outside, I won't be following it. I don't go there--for many reasons.

Not my circus, not my monkeys. ;)

Just my :2c: :)

Hello everyone and carry on!

With all due respect, do you understand the Vaping360 article is a synopsis/breakdown of the document you earlier thought was insufficient?

The document I compared Nicopure's recent brief to was the FDA's motion that had taken statements from Nicopure's initial filing and addressed these statements with their rebuttals.. The most recent brief/motion by Nicopure was clear and precise, whereas the FDA's motion/ rebuttal prior to that seemed very wordy .
Those were 2 different briefs/motions I was comparing, however, my mistake was in thinking that Nicopure had written both, but that wasn't the case.

Some of us saw the illusion though and stopped voting. Granted holding no confidence in a corrupt system, not participating might not be the correct manner to effect change. Still when you're patently told your voice in the game does not matter, it is no longer a game suitable to keep playing. Why consent to something you've no voice, or hope of altering to retain an ethical and moral ideal? Ergo, I no longer consent. I no longer vote. If voting actually achieved a thing, we'd not be allowed to vote.

, as @Katya said.

I also note George Carlin & Lenny Bruce have said much the same as I've said here. Yes, I might be paraphrasing. When the ideas and thought, logic behind them ring of truth, well you kind of accept the rationale.

I went into vape shop yesterday to get some 18650 for my new RX 200. The shop owner told me he can't legally get them from China because he will be considered a "tobacco manufacture." He me told they're looking for another source. Maybe I should start buying drill batteries and sell them. :D
Sounds like he or someone needs to actually read the regulations....

Anyway I source my batteries from Liion Wholesale or IMR Batteries, reputable company's and they support Mooch.

China (I'm guessing Fasttech) wouldn't sell to him. I've never gotten counterfeit batteries from this B&M BTW. One B&M I got gets their batteries from a guy who rebuilds laptop battery packs.

You thought Nicopure's lawyers wrote the FDA's brief. . .

I don't accept it. You voted, nothing changed, and now you're fed up and calling it quits? I'm sorry, but not voting isn't an effective political statement. The preservation of liberty requires more than voting or not voting. Much more.

If he's that stupid he won't be in business much longer.
