Nope. It's gone. When did Cole bishop die? to my knowledge it's still attached to that appropriations bill which will likely be passed and signed by Trump.
Nope. It's gone.
Vaping Measure Fails to Pass Senate
Got buried in the election rhetoric - like most everything else.
But it seems we have ornery and uppity Federal judges these days too.Still have the Nicopure lawsuit outstanding.

Got a link to that? I bought FDA approved but the same place sold it a little cheaper without the FDA numbers.
I didn't say you said there was.Didn't say there was. Drug as in the sense that aspirin is a drug, regulated under the FDA, requiring clinical testing prior to being authorized for sale in the US.
Exactly.Just remember folks, your government knows what is best for you.
government in the world

Yep.Exactly.
Sad that almost every government in the world wants us all to just shut up and go back to smoking and pay our cig taxes, get sick and spend a ton on expensive pharmaceuticals before dying of cancer or heart disease like good little boys and girls. Almost funny how ridiculous the whole mess is.
A colleague of mine sent me this article yesterday Asking what I thought about it.
Senate Bill to Exempt Premium Cigars from FDA Introduced Again | halfwheel
I told her that it was Rare, but refreshing, to see a Media Outlet include text that Explains some of the behind the scenes Motivations as to why an Bill (or amendment) is sometimes introduced with little chance of Passage.
"Neither the House nor Senate bill are expected to actually pass. The bills serve as an opportunity for the cigar industry to explain its uniqueness to members of Congress. The support from legislators is then used to show the executive branch—either FDA itself or the White House—that there is congressional support for the exemption.
The most likely scenario for actual action in Congress is by adding language to bills that fund FDA. The standalone bills are also used to further those efforts."
In other words....it's just games. Whoever knows how to play the game best, wins.

I had often thought about getting into the vaping business. And on the human side, these owner/operators have families to feed so they have to find other means of employment. They have the option of hoping for the best but when it comes to feeding your children you'll take the most secure route. Add that it takes time to sell off assets it makes sense ProVape closed now. I'm sure many vendors are calculating the exact same thing. It's not like they can afford to go right up to the drop dead date. They have to make other plans well in advance of that date.
It's time? Now? We should have been squeaky a long time ago.My Grandfather used to say that Squeaky Wheels are the Ones that get the Grease. I think it is Time to Get Squeaky.
As a drug.If it has nothing to do with tobacco, how can they regulate it?
Except that is exactly how Trump got elected.Little guys like us haven't a chance
As much as I appreciate the efforts of Congressman Hunter and Senator Johnson I'm guessing Deeming still does not rank high on their list of priorities. Not that they wont deal with it in time but would probably not be a point of discussion with the prez. Especially since Trump probably has absolutely no clue as to what vaping is or the regulations in question. I think this is something that has to run through DHHS and if it goes through the legislature Trump will be educated about it then (since it will likely be attached to a much larger bill).Trump is meeting with Congress right now to discuss legislation designed to "save the American people billions of dollars." Congressman Duncan Hunter, from California, AKA The Vaping Congressman, is seated one person away from the President. I would love to be a fly on the wall in this meeting!!
