I've only seen blunt syringes at bigger sizes in a few places. Can you just pour VG? Or do I have to warm it up no matter what? In a double boiler?

Well, a few things. You can get blunt needles and put them on any syringe of any size (luer lock is the phrase that'll go with it)

The way I mix, and I use PG based nic in general, is to keep a small bottle, usually 30 ml, with mic base at room temperature with my flavors. I only fill from the freezer when that's empty. For you to warm up the VG nic, just leave it out for an hour, then draw up and fill your smaller bottle. Don't use a double boiler as you fight want the whole bottle of nic getting too hot, it'll just accelerate the breakdown process.

If you're in Forest Hills, there are several on or close to Queens Blvd you can get to by bus (or subway). I can look up their names if you want, one is sorta ok on juice selection the other not. Like any store they're much more expensive on hardware, and full price for juice.

Thanks, E. It'd be great to find a real shop nearby. Not a convenience store that sells all things Smok.
Luckily I have a train station and a bus stop pretty closeby.
Enjoy the holiday weekend!

I use the stuff below to dispense VG without having to warm it up.

I like these, and you can cut them to make an even bigger blunt end. They fit luerlok syringes and bottles and the price is right at 8 cents a piece.

I put them on these bottles that accept the luerlok dispensing standard.

I would be happy to send you some in exchange for a Katz pastrami sandwich!

I miss them....

LOL. I'd like a Katz's pastrami too! A cab driver told me he went in and they charged him @$50 for a sandwich and a drink. Gold plated pastrami, I'm thinking!
Prices in the City are crazy, tho.

Now I'll be craving pastrami on rye with mustard!! ;)

Enjoy the holiday weekend!

There's a place Vapes and Stuff at 8405 Queens Blvd, Elmhurst, NY. It's a block from the Grand Ave station on the R train. There was one close to 71st and Continental Avenue but I can't locate them. They may have gone out of business, which wouldn't surprise me given their selection, prices, and attitude. Vapes and stuff has some nice juice selections, but mainstream hardware, which, as always is overpriced.

There are also 2 vape shops on the Lower East Side. Good selections, nice owners including one with a dog for some pet therapy while you empty your bank account, and are easy to get to with the F train to Canal street. You'll also be close to Katz's to help out Mike.

@mikepetro those micropipettes are a good idea, especially if you clip off the tip. They'll certainly work better than a 14G blunt needle. Excellent idea.

BTW, some bad news. The food at Katz's is still terrific but it's become a real in spot and you have all the cool kids lining up to get in. You'd think it was a club. Needless to say the prices are now at the point you'd expect for the in crowd. They were never cheap (well way back sure they were) but now that sandwich is an investment, not a meal.

Edit: or as Nancy pointed out while I was pecking away at this, yeah, they've gotten expensive. But unless you're ravenous you can take half the sandwich with you for a second meal.

Now I'm hungry.

It bums me out that the LES is so expensive now! Which makes it the place not to go to, anymore.
The Polish restaurants used to be great. Veselka, Odessa etc had great food at great prices.

Back on topic, the vape place by Continental wasn't great, but they were competing with the guys who have the smoke shops there and sell vape kits right near the subway for the shopping tourists.

Elmhurst is kinda far, but for emergency coils or juice would be worth it.
For hardware, all of these stores are expensive. My ciggie guy is selling stuff marked up $20-ish over msrp!
It would be nice to have a place that would deliver food and vape gear to your door at affordable prices. ;)

I forget the name (smh, I need ginkgo for memory!) but I went there once to look when not vaping. And went again a month ago and they were gone.

Ever go to Austin Street in FH at all? Schlepping to the City is a pain now but my (former) smoke shop has vape gear. Coils for the Smok stuff he has are $22!! E train, here I come.
It wasn't until a later post that I got what "FH" meant. And no, I don't go to FH ever. yup, go into the city, you'll find what you need, though it'll be much cheaper on-line.

I'm not surprised. If I didn't live here, I doubt I'd come here!

Online is way cheaper, I agree. Enjoy the rest of the holiday!

Poland is rather central Eur. I believe.
And I remember reading some fun facts about different nations which mentioned that there are at least 100 Polish ppl in almost every country in the world so I guess pierogi's can be found in every corner of this planet. U just need the right address.

I think of it as Eastern Europe. Just a matter of degree I guess.

With the number of countries that have taken possession of territory, Poland has been quite a mishmash. My mom's heritage is Ruthenian, which at times was controlled by a number of neighbors. Her parents' Ellis Island records show them as Austrian, which was the case for a some of the early 20th century. At times they were under the rule of Russia, Ukraine and Lithuania, to name a few. I see it as Eastern Europe as well.

The best pierogies I know of were made by my Mom. Second best I've had are in Hamtramck, a small city surrounded by Detroit. Like Poland, other cultures are now dominating this Polish enclave, so you might hear a call to prayer while eating delicious Polish food.

I can't think of another country that has been punted around more than Poland. To say they've had a rocky history would be an understatement. Their location makes them a target.
