For me: Best to go out fully engaged with life, faculties functioning albeit somewhat more slowly, preferably dying on my tractor productive to the end while testing that dead man switch.
As long as I can pee without help or diapers then I figger life is still worth living.

You may not make it that long, but...I personally know 2 people in their mid-90's who are still going strong. So, you never know!

My mother doesn't vape and never smoked. She turned 94 last February. Her only meds are synthroid daily (for thyroid regulation) and sometimes a pill as needed for slight vertigo in the morning. Other than...healthy as a horse. Still trims the bushes in her yard, pulls weeds, prunes dead branches when needed, etc. She finally stopped riding her bike about 1 mile a day, just a year ago.

Other person is 95. He's battled and won against 3 different cancers. Recently had part of a leg amputated because of complications with his diabetes. But...he still works in his yard, washes his car himself, makes small repairs around his house, and is fully mentally fit.

So I prepped with enough nic to last until I'm 95 at my current rate of use and mg. :)
They do more work than any of the kids in my neighborhood.

Bingo! I haven't needed (or even wanted) to shop for vape stuff in several years.

I stocked up in 2016 and didn't buy a single thing vape related between 8/8/2016 to the first quarter of 2018. It was horrible. :(

Well, had I stocked up in 2010 as I was advised to do, I'd be vaping this today:

For those of you who are not familiar with those devices, those are 180 mAh cigalike batteries (that needed to be recharged every hour) and 3Ω cartomizers that burned constantly--when they were dry(ish), when your drag took longer than 3 sec, or just because they consisted of a hot coil wrapped in flammable polyester filler and had zero airflow.

But stockpiling means I don't have to shop anymore, which makes me happy.

Not me,i very much enjoy the social aspect of visiting my local vape shop.
It's like back when i was a kid and i would visit the local VHS rental place, the video game store or the comic book place.

Yeah i know you can order online and not leave home but for me to do the shopping in person and interact with other vapers is something to look forward to.

I can understand your view thou,in the US and Canada everything is so far away that a 30km drive just to get e-liquid could be a bit cumbersome.

Now with Corona my weekly ritual is all but gone but pre corona my weekly visit to the vape shop was a thing i looked forward to every week.

Getting together with other fellow vapers,do some hand checks and see what everyone is using at the moment.
Also a good time to see what came in new, maybe try some new e-liquids and occasionally get the visit of one of those kids that do cool tricks with vape clouds.

Like a biker gang but with less leather :D

I already went from 16-18mg down to around 7mg without any negative side effects and I don't vape more. So this 0mg goal looks promising.

I worked my way down from 24ml to 3mg years ago. I tried 0mg but it was Blah. I went back up to 3mg and I could sense the nic again. Taste buds know when they are starved. I've been happy at 3mg nic strength for 6 or 7 years (started back in 2010 at 24mg and vaped that for 2 or 3 years in vendor juices).

Occasionally, I mix up 12mg to see how that hits. It does extend my time between vapes, but I get used to the new level and start vaping a little more often again. I think it's what you train your body to accept. Higher nic is good for when I'm out of the house for a while. I can vape in public with much longer times between mental nic cravings. Your brain eventually wants another hit. :)

Brains work better with Nic ...

Yeah for me it's been pretty easy going down ''nic'' wise.
Started with 6mg nic then about a month ago went down to 3mg nic and haven't noticed a difference.

Think for me it's more like an oral fixation type of thing,as long as i can vape and get the ''smoking'' experience I'm all good.

It's definitely a hand to mouth habit, but 0 nic made my brain realize that something was missing. 3mg has been my happy level for years.

Yea, I knew about GBO. I've been buying their bottles and posting about them since starting DIY 5 years ago. They don't carry 100mL glass bottles though. That's a very unusual size, and I've never seen any anywhere. Most sizing jumps from 2oz. (60mL) right up to 4oz. (120mL). That's why I asked where you found 100mL ones. I'd like to get some.

In retrospect the ones I have are 120ml bottles. I mix 100ml batches of juice and I like that there's some shake room in my GBO bottles. As I remember, they probably were 120ml back when i ordered them. The others I use are 60ml for small batches of flavored juice.

Yep totally agree with that.

Back in my days as a solicitor i spent most afternoons at my office and was in front of the computer answering emails, preparing contracts, deeds, wills etc etc and i would probably go thru a pack and half of cigs.

Now here is the kicker,i would barely smoke them,i would light one then take a couple drags then leave in the ashtray, kept on working and then when i had the need to smoke i would light another one since the previous consumed itself without me taking more than a drag or two.

For me most definitely it's a hand to mouth, anxiety sort of thing so as long as i can vape and with just 3mg nic im good for the long run.
Quit smoking november 2018 and haven't had a cigarette ever since...well that is a bit of a lie,bad break up with my ex so i went out one night to binge drink and my batteries ran out.
But yeah i despise the smell of cigarettes and never going back to that nasty habit.

I do not have a standalone freezer, so I am trying to picture the most efficient way to store it in the kitchen freezer.
When i told hubby how much less DIY liquid will cost than the pre-made, he agreed we could dedicate one drawer of our freezer to nic. :) Fitting a lifetime supply in there is requiring some creativity with bottle sizes and arrangements as each order arrives.
May have to invest in a dorm freezer.

How do you arrange yours? I figured I need to be creative in order to store nic and still use it for food and whatnot. I would love ideas on how people are storing their nic stash in kitchen freezers.

Well, it's still as work-in-progress, and different sizes & shapes of freezer spaces will require different arrangements, but where i'm at now is 1/2 ltr bottles on their sides with 1/4 ltr bottles upright next to them. That just fits the width of our freezer drawer. I'll stack the larger bottles into 2 rows, then 2 more bottles in the curves between. Should still be able to close the drawer. Some 120 ml bottles may squeeze into a bit of space behind those rows; i've ordered that size to see.

The hope is it will hold enough for a lifetime, though what a lifetime will be is impossible to know. Just have to guesstimate from averages and family history. Another liter may go into the frig. They say unfrozen nic starts to degrade after about 2 years, so that bottle would be in use while the frozen ones wait their turn.

I imagine there will be a little bit of trial and error. It's kind of like trying to play a game of freezer Tetris. I am assuming you use glass bottles.
