I am not saying skepticism is a terrible thing. But, personally when I bought my very first NJOY and read the "Vape Everywhere and here is how!!" card I was like, "Oh this sucker's days are NUMBERED society is not going to stand for THIS.
I have vaped openly on a plane a few times. Then, came the day I tried to vape on SW and the (really incredibly bit

y in general stewardess told me I could not, and like I was like "That is totally fine, but would you mind showing me where that information is?" (I was thinking, make it easier for me for other carriers) and I guess she thought I was CHALLENGING her or something because we were on the tarmac a long time and I was playing with my phone and then the announcement came "Turn it off" which I was in the process of doing, like, it took me a moment and I was like, 'Ma'am I am doing it."
Anyway, she summoned the TSA and they all like interviewed me and she was like, "That customer was taking pictures of me and posting on FB." She had some hag next to me signing off on that. Had I known, I would have accidentally tripped and fallen on the old hag getting up to go to the bathroom because I don't play like that, but fortunately God saved me from those aggressive actions.
Anyway I explained to the TSA I did not have a FB account even and if I took a pic of that stewardess my lens would have broken and they were all like, "Oh don't worry we KNOW HER." I was freaking out. It was also humiliating.. As a SW I was ALSO freaked out I was like, "Does this report LIKE MEAN anything for me?" They said no it would molder in some filing cabinet somewhere and I went and got it and read it and it was like, the most inaccurate document ever but also true that it was the narrative of some stewardess with a beef.
I believe the government is going to win. I also do not like to "Fly the Friendly Skies" but Phoenix is a freaking hub as is Tucson.
It totally sucked though. I had NO doubt upon that day.
