There has been a consistent downward trend for quite a while but I do wonder at least for the past 10 maybe 12 years has anyone done a study on the reduction of teen cigarette use perhaps having to do with them switching to e-cigarettes. Now when they ask teens these questions they ask do you smoke do you vape do you use other products but 6 years ago they didn't. So how much is the downward Trend actually due to e cigs... I suspect we'll never know

Alcohol straight up kills teenagers and there's never any talk about banning cotton candy vodka. It's all about who has the most lobbying money. And that's how it's supposed to be in an oligarchy

A quick find…

This is consistent with the rapid decline in youth smoking rates in the US. According to the Monitoring the Future study, the smoking rate of 12th graders fell by an unprecedented 21% in 2018 and 25% in 2019.

Vaping has a protective effect in REDUCING teen smoking, new study

Good luck. :)

Not sure the point you're making Z, sorry. I was only eluding to the statistics demonstrating a net reduction of teen smoking (not any other conclusions that might have been drawn by the Univ. Mich or others). No time this a.m. I'm afraid, tied up with so many things.

Just savoring the wonderful if anticlimactic remarks by Mr. Forbes.

Good luck. :)

p.s. Did I do a stupid earlier? Anything is poss in this anoxic existence.

I'm say'n that the Average/Majority of the Media Outlets, and the "Save the Children" Drum Beater Politicians only seem to present One Side of the e-Cigarette narrative.

How Many Times have you seen a Mainstream Media outlet or Elected Politician/Department of Health mention how many People have Quit Smoking because of e-Cigarettes?

Or Peer Reviewed Scientific Studies which concluded that on the Population Level, e-Cigarette use is Significantly Less Harmful that Smoking?

Or that if the FDA somehow "Wiped e-Cigarettes from the Market Place, that there would be a Tidal Wave in the Black Market. Just like what we have Seen in Market like the THC Market?

The List just goes On and On (and On).

But yeah... I'm Ranting. And on a Soap Box Preaching to the Choir.

I tried working in a prison and walked off the job in 6 hours, after a tour by the "Deputy Sherriff" I reached my end when he started talking about "all the suicides" they had and how they "cheered up the inmates" by bringing in "The suicide dog" and he was all PROUD of how many they had and I was thinking, "There is no need for that many suicides you are supposed to have the prisoners under observation 24/7." I was like, "And also, I will kill myself if I need to be near this human any further."

I just looked at him and said, "Sorry, my tour ends here, you couldn't pay me enough to continue" and called in my resignation.

I did not get paid for that day, but it showed up on my taxes. Interesting.

I'd like to see that science. Somebody give me a citation.

There are links in the fox article where you may get some info, but I didn't personally follow them because I am uninterested in reading studies at this point since it takes too much time to figure out (if even possible) if there is any truth in the studies.

Everything is a lie at this point, as far as I'm concerned.

You can't trust tyrants nor can you vote them out, so there's not point in reading the studies they use to spread their filthy lies.

I was referring to scientific peer reviewed studies. It's hard to get anything like that in regards to covid in general, much less covid and vaping. Hence the crickets.

Right. I would march. Bareheaded. I might even SHAVE my head, get a horse, a flaming sword and the kind of relationship with God where he talks back IMMMEDIATELY.

I would love to meet Trump. We would discuss current events, including vaping and COVID and what we are going to do to stop the continent from LITERALLY DROWNING below to the ocean floor thanks to the deficit.

Although maybe I need to be more low key dude, because I read some crazy bipolar chick like totally SNUCK into the White House just to see if she could. She didn't have anything to say much to Trump and like she got pretty darn far. She got shot five times I think in the torso but she is fine?

It is true when you are a bit freaky there Is this sort of blending into the environment that can happen. I could try it. Probably.

I JUST KNOW Trump would enjoy a conversation with me I JUST KNOW IT. With a flaming sword and fast horse it would be even more impressive and I could be like "HOLD UP GOD IS TELLING ME TO TELL YOU IF YOU TRY TO SHOOT ME BEFORE THE CONVERSATION IS OVER, YOU WILL DIE INSTANTLY." And one secret service dude would, and he would die instantly and like, etc.

It would be great. I would have a lovely time, and you know there's plenty of horses around here man.

This stupid PMTA thing is forcing HALO's offerings to go from DOZENS of customer favorite nicQuids to ONLY THREE... this sux royally.

Halo has been around since the beginning, widely expanded operations, and hired lotsa workers. Hoping the company survives at least.

My hope is the larger ecig juice makers start out with a few flavors to test the market waters and to see if people will buy from them (people will buy from them.) If that happens maybe then they can expand their offerings.

It's what I would do. If I did not set my shop on fire in the dead of night to collect the insurance money. Frankly.

More-so I think, start out with a few flavors to see if the PMTA will fly. They are quite expensive to do, especially when the benchmark to pass has not been clearly communicated.

Did you observe things from orbit for a bit and notice that in some places, humans all use the right side of the road, while in other places they all use the left side? Strange creatures, aren't they?
