There has been a consistent downward trend for quite a while but I do wonder at least for the past 10 maybe 12 years has anyone done a study on the reduction of teen cigarette use perhaps having to do with them switching to e-cigarettes. Now when they ask teens these questions they ask do you smoke do you vape do you use other products but 6 years ago they didn't. So how much is the downward Trend actually due to e cigs... I suspect we'll never know
Alcohol straight up kills teenagers and there's never any talk about banning cotton candy vodka. It's all about who has the most lobbying money. And that's how it's supposed to be in an oligarchy

This is consistent with the rapid decline in youth smoking rates in the US. According to the Monitoring the Future study, the smoking rate of 12th graders fell by an unprecedented 21% in 2018 and 25% in 2019.
