I'd guess it would depend on how warm thee like thy Vape?
If thee prefer a warmer Vape - the Stallions would probably win.
For Flavour - tis close but i'd give it to the Phoenix

Not sure about Voltage/Wattage - but the Stallions seem to be able to handle higher V's than the Phoenix - but that might change in the Raven?

My 1st pack of empties arrived today :D - more on the way too!

1 - on me GLV-XL mini - and still going strong 3 hours after 1st fill
2 - Stripped, punched and popped into a Big Daddy Tank - works better than a DC for me! :D

Put it onto me Kicked Bolt and Excellent - Dual Coils eat ya heart out! ;)

Thanks for the pic and the info, Barefoot. One look is worth a 1000 guesses.

I'm going to copy-cat what you did.

I like the Phoenix xl BCs, but to me the Stallions have a better, warmer vape and taste.

Must add - make sure the Stallion is filled to as otherwise the top seems to dry out - aside from that :vapor:

Yeah glad you mentioned that, particularly on a new one.

A question. As the juice in the tank goes down do you find you need to tilt the unit to keep the wick/coil wet/supplied?

Just got the black stuff off and glue cleaned off, preparing to punch pretty soon.

Thanks

I was mentioning it as i'd forgotten too - LoL

Does need topping up around the coil every once in a while in the tank. Strangely, the 1st one, on it's own, doesn't seem to need it so often?

Experience-wise I'm behind you quite a ways. Appreciate your sharing your experience as you progress with this use in a tank.

Just got my Stallion punched as you described. Had big power outage for 6 Hrs. here and I went to assist power company to get to their equip't. on my farm, so just got back now that they're done. Will get into project more tomorrow.

While using the Stallion in stock condition, I've noticed that after a bit I could put off re-topping for awhile by inverting it for a bit and continue vaping afterwards. Sooner or later though one must re-top the unit.

Hey guys...Bad and a couple of other guys said that the shorty drip tip by smoketech is perfect for the stallion...question is, does that mean the shaft going into the cart is shorter to where we won't have to cut off the end??

Yeppers, thats what has been said

Thanks burns...guess I'll order a couple...so far 17 days on these same 2 in a tank and doing well.

Hi rver,

17 days, that's great to hear. I'm about to try the same.

Question. What tank are you putting the punched/slotted??? Stallions in and what size, or does it matter?

As the tank level goes down do you need to tilt them a bit? Just wondering, not having gotten there yet.

Thanks.

Dodari...these are 5 mil tanks from mom and pop vapor shop. cost is about $9.50 for these. The end pieces are grommets with an oring and the great part about them is they have a screw hole for refilling them. I hate to spend the money for the fancy ones...I guess I'm cheap...have been using them for 5 months now and have yet to have one leak a drop. I have to take it apart to change carts but that is very easy to do...Mom and Pop will bend over backwards for their customers...it might be worth you taking a look at them...my stallions work ok in both sizes that they sell.

Ah, ok, 5ml. taller than my 3ml., makes good sense. I agree with your choice, I want function, not a museum piece.

Saw your note on the repair kits, good idea.

Am contacting M & P fpr 5 ml. straightaway.

Thank you.
