I was at lowes last night picking up some more surefire throw-aways (damn bats wont be here til thurs) and I remembered that Noalox. I really didn't know how important it was to make sure you have this stuff on the threads- but now I know. I am glad I did before I had any thread problems.

Do you just apply the Noalox once- or do you periodically re-lube the threads? if so how often???

Apply as needed, even when you wipe the threads off there is NOALOX left behind, after time the threads will wear in and the galling will not be much of an issue. Guess I should have not have asked for more precise threads on this past run. :oops:
